EXCLUSIVE: “Unbeknownst to parents… they’ve been poisoning pupils’ minds for years.” A watchdog report claims Southern Poverty Law Center-linked curriculum is being used in classrooms nationwide, including kindergarten, and could be indoctrinating children. The findings say the SPLC’s “Learning for Justice” program has been integrated into lesson plans across 169 districts in 42 states, touching everything from teacher training to student coursework. Critics argue it introduces themes like anti-racism, gender ideology, and white privilege into core subjects — often without parents’ awareness. The development comes as the SPLC faces federal fraud charges over an alleged multimillion-dollar informant program involving White supremacist and neo-Nazi groups.

This is a welcome and powerful statement from Superintendent Shelli Boggs / @mcschoolsup office. It directly addresses the seriousness of mandatory reporting, referencing the Peoria Unified sex misconduct cases: "Parents send their children to school expecting they will be educated, protected, and safe,' Superintendent Boggs said. "Schools must never become places where warning signs are ignored, delayed, minimized, or buried behind bureaucracy.' "If you serve in Arizona schools in any capacity, your first responsibility is to protect children. Not the institution. Not reputations. Not careers. Two stories, same day, same job. School counselors get 1 on 1 time with children, can pull them out class, get private offices with closed doors, and - bc of their role - appearing especially *concerned* about a child is just expected, not unusual at all.

The Peoria sex case keeps getting weirder (read the headline in the attached image for starters)... Last week, People Magazine announced Amy Beck's return to teaching at a Peoria (AZ) district elementary school on May 4. She was put on leave days earlier for posting online video of herself simulating a sex act on her son while singing explicit lyrics. Who's Amy Beck and why should we care? Ms. Beck's daughter Haley Beck is the alleged child-sex offender from that same school district. People reports that Ms. Beck was put on leave April 28th. THREE days later, "on May 1, Coyote Hills Principal Julie Abbott wrote that a district investigation found that Amy's “actions outside of the workplace did not interfere with her ability to fulfill her teaching responsibilities.” For Peoria, posting fake sex video with your son has no bearing on teaching other people's kids. Why would People Magazine care about a local school teacher? It's only partly because she's the mom of child-sex scandal suspect Haley Beck. Her son whom she was in the inappropriate video with is Noah Beck, a YouTuber with 33M followers. The very next day (May 5), the Peoria district removed Peoria Board President @ThePeoriaMom from her role as the sole board member demanding an independent investigation into the alleged exploitation and cover-up. This allows the district to avoid disciplining any employee and from disclosing anything further about a child exploitation conspiracy. This vote happened with support from the Arizona teacher's union and even the republican party. When the GOP teams up with the teachers union, there is more to the story here. It's worth noting the Arizona Board of Education has kept Haley Beck's license as "valid" thereby allowing her to continue contact with children at other schools while they wait to take action. Here are the regular BoE meetings already scheduled. where the BoE could have taken action following their awareness of the concluding police investigation Dec 15, 2025 but chose not to: Monday, January 26, 2026 (41 days later) Monday, February 23, 2026 (69 days later) Monday, March 30, 2026 (108 days later) Monday, April 27, 2026 (136 days later) I expect the board to revoke her license eventually but I'm less optimistic about the Peoria school district. I predict they will do everything within their power to bury this and protect all staff from accountability. Stay tuned to find out!

Arizona's Parent Bill of Rights has a loophole and Peoria school district just drove a truck through it. That's where two teachers had unrelated sexual exploitation of the same student and the board just unseated @ThePeoriaMom in what smells like a cover-up. ARS 1-602 requires parental notification of any criminal act unless the district believes disclosure would (see paragraph A10): 1) impede an investigation, or 2) can be handled internally When giving their reason to oppose third party investigation last week, Peoria appealed to both excuses enumerated to them in 1-602: 1) District leadership (via the board attorney) stated that launching a third-party investigation could impede the parallel ongoing criminal investigation by law enforcement, AND... 2) The alleged misconduct was addressed internally by PUSD through its standard disciplinary/Title IX process. I'm unsure if Peoria cited these reasons to skirt parental notification law but they definitely cited them to skirt a third-party investigation. If you think other schools won't cite these two excuses for not notifying YOU of a crime against your kids, think again. The 2022 Arizona "Parent Bill of Rights" expressly allows them to. Wherever these weasel-out clauses came from, they were adopted from the Oklahoma law as well (2014). So it's not just an AZ problem but AZ can fix it.
