During National Tree Week it is hard to accept that Liverpool City Council are prepared to allow Redrow to fell 105 trees to build a housing estate on Calderstones Park. The Council once took a pride in this park publishing this leaflet in 2001 to celebrate its the Rare Trees

"Why green spaces are so important"

Our scorebox was broken into last night. A bag of bowling machine balls and more importantly a kit bag was stolen - A black G&M Wheelie Bag. We ask if all local followers members could be vigilant to the kit bag possibly have been dumped in or around the park area.
