I realize I'm going a little hard on OnePlus today. But we've now spent what feels like 15 minutes hearing about how OxygenOS's circular icons evoke "the quality of water" and orange accents represent sunsets and it's all just so forced. Like a Samsung event from 2012.

OnePlus has been hammering its "Burdenless" approach to smartphone design for a few generations now. To me (someone who thinks "minimalist" is often used as a smokescreen for "dull") ... it's not my favorite part of their messaging.
