My boyfriend has been pronouncing "epitome" as "epi-tome" his entire life. He's 28. He's a LAWYER. I only found out because he used it in conversation with my parents and my dad's eye started twitching. I corrected him gently later. He didn't believe me. Googled it. Went silent for like 10 minutes. Then he started going through his memories out loud. "Oh god, I said it at the deposition. I said it in COURT. I said it to the senior partner." He's now convinced everyone thinks he's an idiot. He's been looking up other words to see if he's been saying them wrong. Turns out he's also been saying "chaos" as "chay-ose." I'm discovering I'm dating a functional illiterate. He went to Yale.

@TheEcho13 I have... probably straight hair (it goes wavy while wet and dries somewhat wavy if I don't brush it while wet) and I use conditioner then I brush with a wet brush to detangle. I get more damage dry brushing.

I’m going to save you a lot of time and heartache by telling you that coconut oil is great in your hair, but you must shampoo it out without any water to break down the oil before you wet it. As soon as you have oil in wet hair, you’re going to need to use an obscene amount of shampoo to get it out, just like she does in the video. Coconut oil your hair, wait 1+ hours, shampoo your hair while it’s dry, then rinse, then shampoo a second time. And don’t brush your hair while it’s wet. Even in the shower.

This man took his daughters into a single sexed facility KNOWING his appearance would cause distress to women. He could have used the disabled but instead expects women to “be kind” and create another class of “special men”.
