Then I heard four words that broke me: ‘Dad… are you there?’ I stood there in the woods, tears in my eyes, and answered, ‘Yeah, I’m here.’ That moment shaped everything for me. Those three instructions from a simple camp game are the same three things God tells us: He will never leave you. You can ask Him anything. And you should only listen to the sound of His voice. In the noise of life, when you feel lost or blindfolded by circumstances, remember: Stop. Ask. And listen only for Him. Belgium Police basically surround me while I’m live streaming… and then this happened, I was in Belgium filming the migrant situation when multiple Belgian police vans and officers suddenly approached me on the street. They admitted they had been watching my livestream the entire time. They took me back to my hotel, checked my ID, and searched the place. My trip to Belgium came to a very abrupt end. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, and given six months to a year to live. I spent the past two years, trying numerous forms of treatment; radiation, chemo, a couple different kinds of targeted drug therapy, immunotherapy, and surgeries. I, also kept power over my health where I could do so. I fired my first oncologist who didn’t include me in the decision making. She basically viewed me as The Walking Dead. I found an oncologist who thought outside of the box and completely believed in my power to fight. I didn’t stop working out. I cut sugar from my diet (Keto), And I turned my worries to God. My body is bruised and beaten but my oncologist has informed me today that my latest CT-Scan with contrast, shows no active cancer. I’m not ringing any bell; I know the likelihood of reoccurrence is a strong probability. Yet, this is a major triumph that I want to share with my many friends on here who supported me.
