There are five ways you can fight back. 1. Vote early and often 2. Talk to your neighbors 3. Volunteer for a local campaign 4. Donate to a local campaign 5. Don't be shy Getting involved at the local level is the best use of your time and cheaper than moving to a free state.

THE SWAMP IN THE ROCKIES: How Colorado Democrats Funneled $6.6M of Your Money into a Colleague's Family Business It’s the kind of corrupt, swamp-style math that makes your stomach turn. Before Representative Lorena García was appointed to the Colorado legislature in January 2023, her nonprofit—the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition (CSPC)—had collected a grand total of $12,990 in state funding over five years. But the moment she walked into the Capitol? The taxpayer-funded floodgates swung wide open. Since taking office, García's nonprofit has raked in a jaw-dropping $6.64 million in state payments—representing 99.8% of every single dollar the group has ever received from the state since 2018. Here is how the money exploded once she got power: Before Office (2018–2022): $12,990 total First Year in Office (2023): $316,598 Second Year (2024): $1.4+ Million Third Year (2025): $2.8 Million First Six Months of 2026: $2+ Million A Family Affair Funded by You While millions in state funds poured into the nonprofit, García and her family made sure to take their cut. In 2024, García drew a cool $132,000 salary as the CEO of the nonprofit. Her father was paid $100,250 over two years. Her mother was paid $25,750 over the same period. To make matters worse, independent auditors flagged a "material weakness" in the organization’s internal controls in 2024—the exact same year they were tasked with managing and re-granting millions in public funds. The Ultimate Conflict of Interest This isn't just about massive payouts; it’s a masterclass in political self-dealing. While García sat on the House Finance Committee shaping the budget of the Department of Early Childhood (the very agency writing her nonprofit's checks), she hired a lobbying firm to push bills she personally authored on the House floor! She sponsored child care and tax credit bills, while her paid lobbyist worked the rooms to get them passed. When caught, García’s excuses were insulting. She claimed she only needs to recuse herself if money flows directly to her organization, actively voting on other bills affecting her funding agency, and even bizarrely deflected by pointing fingers at Republican colleagues. The worst part? Colorado Democrats are actively protecting the swamp. When an amendment was introduced to stop state agencies from giving advance grant payments to nonprofits that employ sitting legislators, 13 Senate Democrats voted against it to shield their own. García even had the audacity to call the anti-corruption amendment a "direct and personal attack" on her. This is the state of Colorado's leadership: a ruling class that views taxpayer funds as a private piggy bank, writes the laws to benefit their own pockets, and weaponizes their votes to keep the cash flowing. How much longer will Colorado voters allow Democrats to police themselves while laughing all the way to the bank? rockymountainvoice.com/2026/07/13/lor…

🚨 THE CURIOUS CASE OF APARTMENT A503: Inside Colorado's Broken Voter Rolls 🚨 How does a single, one-bedroom apartment in Aurora, Colorado, end up with 104 registered voters? In a staggering new exposé by auditor Mike O’Donnell, the public Colorado voter roll has revealed a massive, unflagged anomaly. Between 2021 and 2023, a tidal wave of 104 registrants—mostly registered in sudden, coordinated batches and sharing suspicious commercial mailing addresses—were piled onto a single residential unit. While almost none of these individuals ever voted and their ballots were eventually returned as undeliverable, the systemic failure is glaring: 94 of these registrations occurred in 2023 alone, and not a single front-end check or automatic flag in the Secretary of State’s system went off to stop it. Under current state rules, these inactive names will linger on Colorado’s rolls until 2026 and 2028. 🛑 The Cost of "Scout's Honor" Election Security This bizarre case exposes the absolute vulnerability of Colorado's voter registration system: Presumed Citizenship: If an applicant simply "forgets" to check the box confirming they are a U.S. citizen, the state's system presumes they are a citizen anyway, as long as they sign the bottom of the form. Blocking Oversight: While the Colorado Secretary of State readily shared voter data with outside groups like ERIC, she has actively resisted sharing confidential database info with the Department of Justice to verify actual citizenship status. Zero Common-Sense Flags: There is no basic software check at registration to flag when dozens of unrelated people suddenly register to a single, tiny apartment. ⚡ The Verdict: Democrats' Defiance of Election Integrity is Unacceptable This isn’t just an administrative oversight; it is the direct consequence of a deliberate political agenda. For years, Democrats and progressive lawmakers have smeared every basic, common-sense election security measure as "voter suppression." By fighting tooth and nail against robust citizenship verification, clean voter roll maintenance, and basic front-end checks, they have created a playground for systemic vulnerabilities. When you oppose basic safeguards, you aren't "protecting democracy"—you are protecting a broken system that allows 104 people to be registered to a single-bedroom flat without raising a single red flag. If we want voters to trust the outcome of our elections, we need real accountability, strict verification, and clean rolls. It’s time to stop the excuses and secure the vote. rockymountainvoice.com/2026/07/13/col…

Thousands of Coloradans did the hard part. Volunteers spent months collecting signatures, talking to neighbors, standing outside in the heat and cold, and working tirelessly to put these three measures on the ballot. Now it’s your turn. All you have to do is Vote: ✅ YES. ✅ YES. ✅ YES. Together, we can: • Protect children from commercial sexual exploitation. • Protect fairness in girls’ sports. • Protect kids from irreversible sex-change surgeries. It only takes a few minutes to vote and tell others about these —but your vote & conversations can help protect Colorado’s children for generations to come. 📢 Please share this post and tell your family, friends, neighbors, small group, and everyone you meet to Vote YES on all three measures this November. #ProtectKidsColorado #VoteYesYesYes #YesOnAll3 #LetKidsBeKids

THE "PERMISSION SLIP" SHAM: How Colorado Democrats Are Stripping Away Your Civil Rights The radical Democrats in Denver are at it again, launching a direct assault on the U.S. Constitution. Starting August 1, 2026, Colorado’s sweeping new gun restriction—Senate Bill 25-003—officially takes effect, turning a fundamental, God-given right into a government-rationed privilege. Under this unconstitutional licensing scheme, law-abiding citizens who want to purchase commonly owned firearms (including the popular AR-platform) will now have to beg their county sheriff for a "permission slip," pay arbitrary fees, navigate state-approved training courses, and jump through endless financial and logistical hoops. Even worse, the state has quietly swept hundreds of different firearm models into this restrictive dragnet—with bureaucratic anti-gun groups expected to unilaterally add even more through future "rulemaking". Here is the cold, hard truth that Democrats refuse to acknowledge: in places where there is strict gun control, violent crime always increases. By disarming and burying law-abiding citizens in red tape, these policies do nothing but create soft targets for criminals who couldn't care less about permit laws. Fortunately, local rights groups are fighting back with major lawsuits targeting these predatory dealer regulations, privacy-invading record checks, and constitutional overreaches. It’s time to call this what it is: a blatant violation of our civil rights. 👉 Want to see the full breakdown? Watch Jon Caldara's full interview with CSSA President Ray Elliott on YouTube to see just how deep this overreach goes. completecolorado.com/2026/07/13/hun…

🛑 THE COLORADO WOLF NIGHTMARE: A COSTLY, BLOODY DISASTER 🛑 The Democrats’ highly promoted, forced wolf reintroduction experiment in Colorado has officially spiraled into a catastrophic, expensive, and cruel failure. A newly released report reveals that state wildlife agents had to hunt down and lethally shoot an uncollared gray wolf in Routt County. Why? Because the animal went on a relentless rampage, brutally slaughtering at least 22 sheep over the past year. Ranchers did everything they could with non-lethal deterrents, but the carnage wouldn't stop. 💸 Over Budget & Out of Control What was sold to voters as an innocent, low-cost wildlife restoration plan is now a massive drain on taxpayers: The Original Promise: Estimated to cost just $800,000 per year. The Reality: The total cost is now projected to skyrocket past $10 MILLION in its first six years. The Damage: Livestock depredation payouts are already nearly five times the state-budgeted amount. 🏛️ Federal Government Steps In The program has gotten so bad and been managed so poorly that the federal government has had to intervene. The feds have stepped in and placed strict boundaries on Colorado, barring them from bringing in any more wolves from British Columbia or outside a limited six-state Western region. Unsurprisingly, five of those six states have flat-out refused to bail Colorado out by sending their own wolves. This is what happens when activist-driven policies ignore biology, rural communities, and economic reality. Colorado's taxpayers and livestock are paying the ultimate price for a disastrous program that is a proven, bloody failure. denvergazette.com/2026/07/13/wol…

Securing Colorado: Why the New Big Horn Facility is a Step Toward Law and Order The GEO Group has announced plans to open a new 1,200-bed ICE facility—the Big Horn Facility—in Hudson, Colorado, to help manage the ongoing border crisis. While anti-American activist groups and the ACLU are quick to protest and file lawsuits, their outrage is entirely misplaced. By fighting against basic immigration enforcement, the ACLU has abandoned everyday Americans who have a fundamental right to live their lives in safe communities, free from the impacts of illegal immigration and unchecked foreign influence. The Reality of the "Big Horn" Facility Misleading Labels: Activists and media outlets repeatedly refer to these facilities as "prisons." This terminology is highly misleading. A prison implies a punitive, years-long sentence. This facility is a temporary holding center where the average repatriation takes about a week. These individuals are not being punished; they are simply being sent home. The Sanctuary State Consequences: This new facility is only necessary because Democrats have turned Colorado into a sanctuary state. By limiting local law enforcement's cooperation with federal immigration authorities, state policies have created a magnet for illegal crossings, forcing federal agencies like ICE to expand dedicated infrastructure to maintain public safety. Restoring Order: Securing our borders and enforcing immigration laws is not "cruel"—it is the baseline of national sovereignty. The Hudson facility is a critical step toward restoring order in a state heavily impacted by open-border policies. coloradosun.com/2026/07/13/ice…

Spin vs. Reality: How the Corporate Media Manufactures "Loyalty Pledges" Another day, another blatant example of the corporate left-wing media putting their thumb on the scale. 🚨 Look at the actual facts of what’s happening in the Colorado governor’s race, compared to how outlets like 9NEWS are desperate to frame it. They are running headlines claiming Victor Marx is forcing Republicans to sign "loyalty pledges." The truth? The words "pledge" or "loyalty" are nowhere to be found in the actual document. What 9NEWS is trying to weaponize is nothing more than a standard organizational and marketing tool. It’s a routine campaign framework designed to collect basic operational information: where, when, how, and if local campaigns want to coordinate efforts with the top of the ticket. It’s literally about figuring out how to share resources and work together. Even when the campaign explicitly told them, "This is a voluntary coordination framework, not a loyalty pledge," the media ignored the reality to push a narrative meant to divide. This exact brand of dishonest, sensationalist journalism is precisely why everyday people have completely lost faith in these corporate media sources. They aren't reporting the news anymore—they're trying to manufacture outcomes. Shame on you @9NEWS. 9news.com/article/news/p…

The Truth Behind the Utah Land Myths: Why Trump is Giving Public Land Back to the People The corporate media is at it again. This first article from Yahoo/AFP is pure, biased hysterics, acting like the sky is falling because President Trump is undoing the massive, illegal land grabs of the Clinton and Obama years. They want you to think "protection" means saving the earth, but it’s actually just federal overreach locking the public out. Look at the facts in the second article. The Antiquities Act of 1906 was written to protect small, specific historic sites—like a 160-acre ruin—NOT to give dictatorial Democrats a blank check to lock up millions of acres of public land by executive fiat without a single congressional vote. Clinton and Obama abused the law to create massive, multi-million-acre playground preserves that decimated local economies, closed off miles of OHV trails, and penalized local ranchers. Huge praise to President Trump for having the guts to slash these bloated monuments by 90% and give the land back to the people! He is stopping the radical Left’s war on the West and allowing everyday citizens and local communities to actually use and manage our own public lands again. 🚨 TEACHERS ARE NOT POLITICAL PIGGY BANKS: How Unions & Democrats Are Failing Our Kids 🚨 A powerful new op-ed by Denver music teacher Priscilla Rahn exposes how the National Education Association (NEA) and its state affiliates have completely abandoned classrooms to fund radical progressive agendas. In New Jersey, a music teacher is suing union leadership for allegedly funneling over $40 million of teachers' mandatory dues into a super PAC to back a union boss’s run for governor—without members' consent! While everyday educators struggle to pay utility bills, their hard-earned money is being weaponized for partisan Democrat politics, ideological workshops, and political campaigns rather than addressing severe student learning loss. But this toxic cycle isn't just happening at the national level—it’s thriving right here in Colorado. Look no further than Adams 12 Board President Lori Goldstein, who has been consistently rewarded by the establishment for pushing failing progressive policies. Under this type of leadership, we see: Failing Schools: Prioritizing partisan activism over basic academic proficiency and student achievement. The School-to-Prison Pipeline: Implementing broken policies that fail to support students while driving up disciplinary crises. The "Pronoun Police": Fostering extreme ideological environments where schools focus more on policing language and threatening disciplinary or legal action over pronouns than teaching core subjects. It is time to hold teachers' unions and progressive politicians accountable. Our schools should exist to educate children, not to serve as a financial pipeline for the Democratic party and radical agendas. 👇 Read the full story on how unions are exploiting teachers and students alike. denvergazette.com/2026/06/24/gue… adams12.org/resources/stud… coloradonewsline.com/briefs/lori-go… cde.state.co.us/schoolview/fra… thebrightonblade.com/news/adams-12-… Picture: Lori Goldstein, appointed Democratic state representative and the Adams 12 Board of Education President, is indoctrinating kids. School choice is growing—and so is the industry behind it. Education savings accounts and scholarship programs are creating hundreds of millions of dollars in new state contracts. But who is managing these programs, and what happens when private companies compete for that business? On this episode of Learning Curve, Ross Izzard and Erin Brantley explore the business side of school choice, the organizations behind ESA administration, and why these contracts are becoming an increasingly important part of the education debate. Watch the full episode here: youtu.be/Xt4F1obesTQ What role should private companies play in administering school choice programs? Not a peep from Hickenlooper when Jasmine Carpio was murdered by an undocumented immigrant driving drunk. Then again, Hickenlooper got rich by exploiting the labor of undocumented immigrants, one of whom went on to murder a police officer. Later, Hickenlooper sold his shares to collect his blood money and facilitate insider trades as a senator, where he amassed a fortune of $32 million. Hickenlooper only protects his wallet, not democracy, and certainly not our families. 9news.com/article/news/l… denverpost.com/2005/06/04/cop…

Two Years After Butler: Remembering a Miraculous Survival Amid a Culture of Violence Today marks the two-year anniversary of the assassination attempt against Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. Reflecting on the moment a bullet passed just a quarter-inch from his life, Trump shared, "I got lucky. God was watching... So God was with me." A split-second turn to look at a chart is widely credited with saving his life. This anniversary serves as a stark reminder of the escalating political hostility and violence facing conservative leaders. From the 2017 congressional baseball shooting carried out by a Bernie Sanders supporter, to recent tragic instances of mass violence involving transgender perpetrators; aggressive rhetoric from the political left continues to fuel a dangerous culture of hatred and targeted violence against opponents. The Democratic Party is the party of hate and violence. nypost.com/2026/07/13/us-… cnn.com/2017/06/14/hom…

THE SYSTEM COVERS FOR PREDATORS: THE ROT OUTSIDE STEAMBOAT SPRINGS Medical records showing physical trauma? Check. A toxicology report revealing a central nervous system depressant? Check. Matching male DNA? Check. A suspect whose own search history asks, "Can you give consent while drunk?" and whose mother texted him asking if he gets a thrill from taking someone "close to death"? Check. Yet, Routt County District Attorney Matthew Karzen and his deputy Joseph Bucci looked at this mountain of corroborating evidence in the brutal rape and near-strangulation of an 18-year-old girl and decided to drop the case. Let's not forget how Karzen got power in the first place: Democratic Governor Jared Polis appointed Karzen to the 14th Judicial District DA seat in 2018. This is the kind of leadership being hand-picked for Colorado. Now, Karzen’s office is facing four misconduct complaints with the Office of Attorney Regulation, alongside a formal finding by a state board that they violated the Victim Rights Act by failing to treat the family with "fairness, respect and dignity." In Routt County, there were 14 reports of rape in 2024 and exactly one arrest. The system isn't broken—it's working exactly as intended to shield predators while telling victims that speaking up is worthless. Colorado needs a "Second Look" law immediately to strip these compromised, appointed local DAs of their absolute power to bury justice. coloradopolitics.com/2026/07/10/rou… coloradopolitics.com/2020/08/19/kar…
