There are five ways you can fight back. 1. Vote early and often 2. Talk to your neighbors 3. Volunteer for a local campaign 4. Donate to a local campaign 5. Don't be shy Getting involved at the local level is the best use of your time and cheaper than moving to a free state.

⚠️ THE GOVERNMENT IS COMING FOR YOUR TRASH! ⚠️ Colorado Democrats have officially taken their nanny-state obsession to a terrifying new level. Under the guise of "environmental safety," left-wing lawmakers just rammed through Senate Bill 26-003, following up on their intrusive 2025 legislation (SB 25-163). Think your trash is private? Think again. Thanks to these heavy-handed Democrat policies, throwing away a routine household battery could soon make you a target. Here is the nightmare Colorado Democrats are creating: ❌ INSANE FINES FOR ORDINARY CITIZENS: The legislation leaves the door wide open for everyday residents to face mind-boggling administrative penalties of up to $15,000 PER DAY (or $25,000 via civil action) just for throwing a battery in the garbage. 🕵️‍♂️ TRASH INSPECTIONS & ZERO PRIVACY: Legal experts are already warning about how this will be enforced. Because of Supreme Court precedent, government agents can legally snoop through the trash bags sitting on your curb. Are Democrats really going to deploy "garbage police" to rifle through your personal trash looking for a laptop or tool battery? 💸 HIGHER COSTS FOR CONSUMERS: Democrats claim "producers" will fund this massive new bureaucratic recycling system, but we all know the truth: those massive compliance fees will be passed directly down to Colorado families through higher prices on vehicles, electronics, and trash collection services. This is what happens when one-party radical rule takes over. Instead of focusing on real issues, Colorado Democrats are criminalizing the waste bin and looking for excuses to fine you into oblivion. How much more government overreach are we supposed to take? 🛑 #ColoradoPolitics #DemocratOverreach #NannyState #SaveOurPrivacy #CoPol #Colorado denvergazette.com/2026/05/18/col…

🥤 Colorado’s Sugar Rush Debate: Handouts or Hand Ups? Governor Jared Polis just signed an executive order banning Colorado from buying soda or alcohol for official state functions. But the real story here is the absolute gridlock over the state's food-assistance (SNAP) program. While Polis is pushing to ban the use of food stamps for sugary drinks, his own Democrat-aligned human services board and 27 Democrat state lawmakers completely blocked the move. Their excuse? They claim a soda ban "harms the dignity and autonomy" of low-income families. Let's call this what it is: a failure of leadership from the Left. By fighting to keep taxpayer funds flowing into junk food and sugary sodas, these Democrats are actively subsidizing chronic illness—like diabetes and heart disease—in vulnerable communities under the guise of "compassion." Praise belongs to the conservatives and reform-minded leaders who have long championed removing sugary drinks and junk food from welfare programs. They understand a fundamental truth: 📌 Welfare is supposed to be a temporary safety net to help people get back on their feet, not a permanent destination or a taxpayer-funded grocery spree for unhealthy habits. True dignity means fostering self-reliance and health, not trapping families in a cycle of government dependency and poor nutrition. It's time to reform the system, incentivize actual nutrition, and restore SNAP to its original purpose. #ColoradoPolitics #WelfareReform #FiscalResponsibility #HealthyColorado #SNAPReform coloradosun.com/2026/05/21/pol…

THE DACA COLLAPSE: How Obama’s Illegal Program is Costing Americans Their Livelihoods The systemic instability of the Democrats' immigration agenda is finally imploding—and American workers are paying the price. A new report from CBS Colorado reveals that the DACA program is frozen in massive backlogs. But the real outrage? The article profiles an illegal alien who was actually hired by Boulder County, occupying a lucrative public position. Consider the facts: The Illegal Program: Created via executive overreach by the Obama administration, federal courts have repeatedly ruled that DACA is completely illegal. Stolen Opportunities: The average salary for a Boulder County employee is $83,815 per year plus taxpayer-funded benefits. That is a prime, high-paying career that should have gone to an American citizen. The Root Cause: While these Dreamers are in a tough spot, their situation was entirely created by the criminal decisions of their parents who smuggled them across the border. If anyone is to blame, it is the parents who broke the law—not the American taxpayers. No American citizen should ever be stripped of a job to reward a criminal decision. It’s time to put American workers first. cbsnews.com/colorado/news/…

Colorado’s sanctuary policies are putting politics ahead of public safety. Drug overdose deaths in Colorado rose from 1,603 to 1,813 last year while much of the country saw declines. Denver homicides are up 50% compared to this time last year, and human trafficking remains near record highs. That’s why I joined @JudiciaryGOP in demanding answers from Denver officials about policies that block coordination with federal authorities and release dangerous offenders back into our communities.

In a race like this, truth matters. Phil Weiser and his supporters’ attack ad is false, and spreading lies only distracts from standing up to Trump’s chaos and protecting Colorado. And that’s what I’m focused on… (Fact checked by @MarshallZNews)

HB22-1254 was a bipartisan bill sold as closing a loophole on expired temp tags and late vehicle registration. The fiscal note projected it would generate millions in new late fees and back taxes every year. Yet nearly 3.5 years after it took effect, there is still no public accounting from the Department of Revenue showing how much revenue has actually been collected. Colorado drivers deserve to know exactly how much this is costing them, and where the money is going. Transparency shouldn’t be optional.

The historical ignorance here is stunning. Let’s be entirely clear about why the 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868: It was specifically created to resolve the catastrophic question that led to the Civil War. It explicitly overturned the Dred Scott decision to ensure that Black Americans were recognized as full citizens—not slaves, and not "three-fifths" of a person. It was a profound, hard-fought measure designed to guarantee the rights of newly freed slaves who had deep, generational roots in this country. By twisting this monumental amendment into a perpetual open door for birth tourism, Senator Hickenlooper is completely erasing its original intent. Frankly, stripping the 14th Amendment of its core purpose to protect the rights of freed slaves is inherently anti-Black history. Time to read a history book, Senator. #14thAmendment #AmericanHistory #ConstitutionalIntent #BlackHistory
Senator John Hickenlooper@SenatorHick

It’s called the 14th amendment. It’s in our constitution, President Trump.
We know you’re cheap on everything but ballrooms, so we found you the cheapest one.

🚨 DENVER’S CRIME BLEED: HOW DEMOCRAT FAILURES ARE MAKING ADAMS COUNTY UNSAFE 🚨 The fallout from Denver’s disastrous policies is spilling directly into our backyards, and the data proves it. A shocking new report from 9NEWS reveals that the Denver Police Crime Lab is in a state of total collapse. Thanks to chronic underbudgeting and recent city budget cuts—driven by Denver Democrats prioritizing funding for illegal immigrants over the safety of American citizens—evidence is piling up untested. Look at the catastrophic numbers: The overall case turnaround time has nearly tripled. The latent print unit backlog has ballooned by a staggering 567%! * Fingerprints and DNA from crime scenes are sitting on shelves for months, meaning violent criminals are staying on the streets longer to find their next victims. Why does this matter to Adams County?Because crime doesn’t stop at a county line. When Denver Democrats fail to lock up criminals, that danger bleeds straight into Adams County. To make matters worse, many neighboring municipalities rely on this very lab to process evidence. But don't expect our local leadership to protect us. Our weak Adams County Sheriff and County Commissioners are completely soft on crime. Instead of standing up for public safety, our county commissioners are too busy catering to special interests—taking massive donations from developers and returning the favor in the form of lucrative grants. They are more interested in lining pockets and playing politics than actually managing our county and securing our communities. We are paying the price for Denver's radical budget priorities and Adams County's spineless leadership. It's time to demand accountability before our neighborhoods pay an even higher price. U.S. Army Special Operations Command
As missions became more daring, the odds closer to impossible, a wholly different kind of force was required. A force as unconventional as the volunteers in its ranks. And in 1952, from the roots of the OSS, Col. Aaron Bank led the original group of the Army’s Special Forces.

The Law Doesn’t Exist Here: How Progressive Policies Destroy Local Safety 🛑👇 If you want a textbook example of how radical Democratic leadership completely rots an institution from the inside out, look no further than Costilla County, Colorado. A devastating new report from The Denver Post exposes a culture of absolute lawlessness under the county's former Democrat sheriff leadership. We aren’t just talking about regular incompetence here—half the department, including the sheriff and undersheriff, were recently indicted for horrifying misconduct, including abusing a corpse and assaulting a citizen in a mental health crisis. Here is what "leadership" looks like under these failed progressive policies: 📉 Complete Legal Anarchy: Local district attorneys have been forced to drop critical cases because the sheriff’s office completely botched investigations, lost evidence (including DNA and homicide autopsy samples), and refused to cooperate with prosecutors. 💰 Financial Malfeasance: While actual criminals ran free, leadership was busy using public jail funds to buy prepaid Walmart gift cards for personal use, hair spray, and pregnancy tests. 🚪 Unsecured Communities: Defense attorneys noted that the county jail didn't even have locked doors separating the inside from the public. This is always the way with Democrat-run law enforcement. They prioritize identity politics and buddy-system connections over basic competence, safety, and training. We see it all over the state—heck, look at Adams County, where crime rates have soared past Denver. When you defund the standards and refuse to enforce the law, the innocent citizens pay the price. It’s time to clean house and bring accountability back to Colorado. #ColoradoPolitics #CostillaCounty #LawAndOrder #AccountabilityNow #CoPolitics #SaveOurStreets denverpost.com/2026/05/22/cos…
