Scheduled a haircut with a lady named Aubrey last week. Showed up today. Turns out Aubrey was a straight dude. I now look retarded.

say you're watching the Odyssey. 70mm. IMAX. what is your drug of choice to maximize the experience? micro-medium dosed psilocybin? coluracetam? complete sobriety for the truest possible experience? a few drinks to get loose? no weed, LSD, ketamine, or similar.

@aestheticprimal How would you view exogenous melatonin administration in the context of someone with a childhood thymosectomy?

Interesting part about Melatonin and the thymus-pineal axis is that no matter the time of day when you administer exogenous Melatonin it will always increase the release of Thymulin from the thymus. with Zinc availability being the rate limiting step Thymulin is a nonapeptide produced by the Thymus and plays a role in T-cell differentiation it follows a circadian rhythm (probably because Melatonin is what activates it) It seems to stimulate the pituitary gland (LH, FSH, GH, Prolactin, TSH) Its levels also have a bidirectional positive correlation with ACTH, likely that POMC plays a big role in it as well This endogenous peptide is ridiculously elusive

I think high dose melatonin might be fixing me. @PGC1a_RB you dog

@ScholarOfAll Higher CO2, that would make sense Also if the fountain is tweaked or off it can be stronger than normal, resulting in an even lower pH (higher acidity)

@oxidativestate The anomeric carbon on ribose and deoxyribose both have hydroxyl groups. Also the claim that cells only use 5-10% of dna is kinda false .

Gene mutations come after metabolic derangement, DNA replication is a metabolic process, transcription factors needs ATP and protein stability depends on carbon dioxide levels.

@lowmegatron How much or this could be reverse causality? As I understand it metabolically healthy people tolerate high levels of caffeine far better.

One not so talked about superfood: Orange peel marmalade Why? Well... For every compound OJ has... That give it its anti-inflammatory, anti-estrogen, gut healthy properties... Orange peel, has up to 8X the concentration! Some of them: - Naringenin: Anti-inflammatory and blocks estrogen production, often paired with OJ + aspirin in Peat's cancer-related writing due to its power - Naringin: Breaks down into naringenin in the gut. It's the "raw" form of naringenin - Hesperidin,"vitamin P": Strengthens blood vessel walls reducing leakiness. Fragile blood vessels let more estrogen and endotoxin circulate around - Nobiletin: Improves metabolic function and blunts inflammation. Exclusive to orange peel - Tangeretin: Same peel-exclusive metabolic/anti-inflammatory benefit as nobiletin, they typically show up together. - Synephrine: Raises energy expenditure and mental alertness through mild stimulant action, without the histamine releasing downside of harsher stimulants. - Limonene: Calms inflammation and has mild antimicrobial action in the gut Now, DO NOT eat raw peel: It's full of anti-nutrients, pesticides, and raw pectin that will screw up your digestion Cooking it destroys most of the bad stuff while keeping the good stuff mostly intact The compounds are pretty heat stable, so nothing is destroyed in cooking Quick marmalade recipe down below 👇

Sunlight exposure might be the most expensive health intervention for the average person. Sure the sun is free but the 4 hours I have to spend in it is not. Making the indoors be like the outdoors is worth a lot of money imo.
