@BillyM2k It takes 5 seconds to use ChatGPT or Grok to at least try to not have a strawman of the sides argument. You can still disagree with their reasoning, but to not even try is wild.

i don’t understand why the left is against voter id while simultaneously saying how it won’t make a difference because people aren’t illegally voting so then pass the law? if the results are the same and it makes no difference, it takes away the talking point

@AInnovator_ @paulb3rd Idk I go back and forth on how much of a difference it makes. I do it and try to not sweat it if I miss a day. It certainly can’t hurt, but I almost never “feel it” or notice changes unless I’m sleep deprived or overworked.

@paulb3rd While for someone like you who is already on steroids yeah you won’t notice an impact from creatine. For natural people it totally makes a noticeable difference.

I am giving creatine another try. I am about 3 weeks in. My stomach is handling 5mg okay. More than that, it's shit my pants. I honestly notice no difference with or without it. Never have. Am I the only one who feels like it basically does nothing?

If you do decide to hop on the gym train check out @DeanTTraining. His general style of training has been great for me and he’s always responding to comments.

@DeanTTraining Interesting, so you’re not doing any sort of partials at the end? Maybe I’m focusing too much on the glute engagement/hip drive at the bottom. I’ll try to focus on the quads tonight and see how that goes. Where do you typically put the pad on your pelvis?

@ScienceWhats I just stiffen knees by flexing quads hard as fuck Don’t really think much outside of that I make sure to reach full hip extension at top too Once I start to or might begin to lose degrees there, the set is over

@Swirvana_ @SchizoScribblez @fwdaniels When I graduated college a few years back I weighed myself for the first time in years and was 126lbs at 6’1 🫣 Running multiple times a week and living off coffee will do that to a person lol. I’m 167 right now and feel a whole lot healthier and more confident!

@Swirvana_ @SchizoScribblez @fwdaniels I was there not too long ago! How long have you been going strong? After my first year screwing around with bands, pull-ups, and pushups I finally got the gym membership and started tracking macros/progressions a bit more closely and it’s been a game changer for me.

@Swirvana_ @SchizoScribblez @fwdaniels I always recommend that’s where people start. Get some routine down and then decide if having a dedicated gym routine makes it easier to stay consistent and progress. In the first year you’ll grow from anything anyways. No need to complicate things.

@Swirvana_ @fwdaniels My triceps and delts tend to take over and I have to do feet raised or use bands which is more trouble than it’s worth when I could use a well built machine. Better than nothing though.

@DeanTTraining For example, do you drive with your hips or is it starting with the lower back? I almost feel more pain in my lower back driving with my hips than I do with lifting with my back, which seems counterintuitive.

@DeanTTraining I’ve been trying to use this to help rehab lower back pain. What internal queues do you use for these to maintain good form? It seems like to you can change the bias in several different ways.

@Liam14903953 @brian_macisaac @savage_grows Just to preface this conversation, I’m pro weed legalization and have used it plenty. With that out of the way, there is basically no evidence that weed cures any form of cancer outside of Petri dish. It can certainly help with symptom management and improve quality of life.

People underestimate how much cannabis has changed over the years. What many people picture is still based on the ditch weed from decades ago. Today you have strains for energy, sleep, creativity, appetite, and everything in between. If the only cannabis you’ve experienced is from 20+ years ago, you don’t know what you’re talking about, respectively.

@TReedSF @ScienceWhats @saeed_nasser88 @atrupar Biden’s policies did impose restrictions on new oil production however the net was still more than the nation ever produced. But none of that production was from the administration policies it was private land drilling and markets, not federal policy either way.

The Strait of Hormuz was supposed to end Trump’s presidency. Iran blocked it. Oil spiked. Gas prices surged. The plan was simple… crush the American worker with inflation until the political pressure forced a retreat. But the trap inverted. The oil market has fractured into two tiers. $100 in America. $150 in Asia. China, India, Japan, South Korea… the nations that refused to send warships when Trump asked… are now paying 50% more per barrel than the country that launched the war. Demand destruction has started across Asia. Schools closing. Workers sent home. Petrol pumps running dry in Southeast Asia. Meanwhile American refineries are actually increasing output, running on light sweet crude that never touches Hormuz. Trump told them to help open the Strait. Every single one refused. NATO said it wasn’t their war. China negotiated selective passage from a destroyed regime. Japan declined. Australia declined. Now the Strait is doing to them what it was designed to do to Trump.

What have I been saying for three weeks?! (Yes three) IDC what the price of oil climbs to, as long as it remains global. The real danger is it starts to fracture between nations and regions.

@squilli30279775 @LynneJay00 @ja3k_ Most Americans can’t afford an emergency expense. An extra 1k in the average persons pocket per year is material, especially when it’s on something they have no ability to moderate.

@LynneJay00 @ja3k_ It’s really funny that your conservative estimate of it is still pretty immaterial in a general budget. Rent, healthcare, food, Deb, etc. are all so much more salient than fuel prices.

Idk why gas prices are so culturally salient in america. You could drive an hour a day and it probably comes to less than $3k/year. Is it because they put the price on billboards along the road?

@DnkLibertarian @lamps_apple What argument do you have in support of this? From my PoV there are many counterpoints. They agreed to the Bretton woods agreement, moved away from pounds & buy our debt. Likewise, the only time article 5 has been utilized by nato was following 9/11.

One of the strangest things about DMT is how after you smoke it once, the smell is seared into your memory. A white-yellow crystal that smells like a Payless shoe store stuffed with mothballs somehow evokes a more powerful nostalgia than your grandma's chocolate chip cookies
