@sweatystartup Not sure you fully understand the power dynamics of the northeast. Alumni of these colleges are everywhere you turn in Boston, NY, and DC. As long as you're willing to make connections these colleges are a ticket to the upper middle class.

Nothing worse for middle class kids than private no-name colleges. Walk out of there with $200k of student loans and a degree that isn’t as valuable as a free ride state school. The entire Patriot League is an economic disaster for so many families.

@scottzolak Oysters is the one food that New England does better than anywhere in the world. Also, big oysters are gross and should not be that size. An oyster that big sitting in the hot gulf waters is a recipe for disaster.

@commbankerguy The average homebuyer barely understands the difference between fixed and floating rate. Not surprising most are not crunching the numbers to see if this makes sense. My sense is most people are very scared of anything adjustable right now.

Update on our in house mortgage product that’s been running for months. 3/1 ARM that starts with a 5 with 30% down (willing to do 20%). A steep 3% up front fee as a buy down but that breaks even in 18 months of being in the house given current rates. We’ve made one loan. 😳 Secondary market apps have picked up but I’m still shocked on little interest in this deal. It’s a no brainer if you run the math.

@ReubenR80027912 One reason Andor was so good compared to other new star wars shows is that the characters had no special powers. Just normal people living in an extraordinary world. Characters could never just escape a scene by using super powers.

Admittedly, I’ve only seen 1 Marvel movie but Problem is raising stakes too high: saving the girl? Timeless Saving the *world*? Too high stakes Power your superhero needs is godlike at that point so 🥱 Batman > Superman b/c if you’re godlike…what’s the fun in that?
