Following the President’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in Iran, I’ve directed our public safety teams to be on heightened alert for potential threats to Minnesota. While there’s no known threats at this time, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly.

I went to church today. During the sermon, the pastor told the congregation, as black people, we’ll always have racism to face & hills to climb. He went on to say President Trump would implement slavery again if he could. After church, I asked him what proof he had to support that statement. He responded, “He said it.” I replied, “He’s never said that. Where did you see that?” Then he said, “I’m not going to argue with you.” I replied, “It’s not arguing. You preached a message of oppression to keep your congregation beholden to a particular party but you won’t offer proof.” He responded, “I’m not talking about a party. I’m talking about an individual and he’s a racist!” Once again, I responded, “How do you know?” He replied, “I’m a black man. He’s racist, but if you want to keep believing what you believe, that’s on you. I’m not arguing with you.” I responded, “You’re being emotional. I’m not arguing. I simply asked for proof.” He continued to say he wasn’t going to argue with me as he walked away. Many pastors of predominantly black churches are a bunch of charlatans, who are only there to fleece their sheep.

Remember when Democrats wanted our water supply to be free of chemicals? Now Dems are fighting FOR pharmaceuticals and big Ag to dump crap in our water and soil. And trust private investor funded “safety” studies. I’m So Tired

@JessicaValenti The FDA’s claims that any manmade chemicals in our water supply are “safe” at any level is always suspect. Especially when those chemicals are making a lot of money for a lot of wealthy people. Democrats used to care about keeping water clean, what changed?

@wavelettes @not_an_npc_9 I see this happen a lot with “disabled” children. The world must bend, instead of the child being taught boundaries, social norms and accommodations. Some of the most abusive patients in the medical system are the result of a system that refuses to tell “disabled” children no.

@not_an_npc_9 it’s case by case so I can’t speak for everyone - but in my experience he began to show signs of physical aggression and lack of boundaries and respect for other people’s personal bubble + property pretty young. I think a group home sitch would have been better for everyone :/

having a severely autistic sibling is foundational to my worldview. being told to “be patient” while my boundaries were violated daily for over a decade didn’t teach me empathy. it taught me that in the absence of hierarchy, dysfunction wins. and the stable always pay the price.
