🚨 TRANSFER ANALYSIS: Lawrence Shankland to Rangers? 🔵 With reports suggesting Rangers are in advanced talks to bring Lawrence Shankland to Ibrox on a 2-year deal (with an option for a third), the dynamic of the Scottish Premiership could be shifting. Despite Shankland committing to a 3-year extension with Hearts just last summer, a reported 1-year get-out clause seems to have paved the way for this move. But what does the data say about the 25/26 season he just delivered for the Jambos? Here is a deep dive into the underlying metrics that explain why Rangers are making their move. 📊 The Data Breakdown: Shankland's 25/26 Season Overall Impact & Reliability •Elite Rating: Shankland recorded an outstanding average match rating of 7.19 for the season, ranking him 2nd overall among all attackers in the league (positional average: 6.86). •High Lowest-Floor: Even on his quietest days, his lowest rating was a 6.49, which ranks 1st for the highest "lowest rating" among attackers, proving his immense consistency. •Availability: He logged a massive 2,487 minutes across 29 appearances (28 starts), making him a highly reliable focal point. Attacking Output & Threat •Lethal Finishing: He delivered a phenomenal 0.58 goals per 90 minutes, ranking 4th among Premiership attackers and nearly doubling the league average of 0.31. •Shot Volume: He isn't afraid to pull the trigger, averaging 3.11 total shots per 90 (8th in the league). •Accuracy: Crucially, he tests the keeper frequently, generating 1.34 shots on target per 90 (5th in the league). Involvement & Build-Up Play •Link-Up Play: Shankland is heavily involved in deeper phases, averaging 27.58 passes per 90 (11th) and completing 19.4 accurate passes per 90 (13th). •Creative Spark: He chipped in creatively with 1.3 key passes per 90. •Target Man Outlet: He serves as an excellent out-ball, ranking 8th among attackers for long balls won per 90 (1.01). 🧠 The Verdict If Rangers trigger the clause, they are acquiring one of the most statistically dominant, volume-heavy strikers in the division. The data shows a player who not only scores at an elite rate but is heavily involved in build-up play, wins aerial duals, and maintains an incredibly high performance floor week-to-week. For an Ibrox side facing a summer rebuild, securing a proven domestic hitman with these metrics is a massive statement of intent. #SPFL #RangersFC #HeartsFC #LawrenceShankland #ScottishFootball #TransferNews

So Willie Collum backing John Beaton to award penalty after only 17 sec review on advice of Andrew Dallas to award penalty to Celtic v Motherwell has been adjudged to be wrong by KMI. The WORLD knew it was wrong. What an awful look for Collum & shows Dallas has too much influence

Such a shame Jens Berthel Askou is leaving Motherwell after just one season season, but that's the food chain i guess. Will see if their squad stays together! #SPFL #MotherwellFC

What a Season! The Dust Settles on the 2025/26 Premiership Campaign 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏆 Congratulations to Celtic once more for winning the league in dramatic fashion. A deeply debatable 99th-minute penalty rescued a massive victory for Celtic against Motherwell in the penultimate game, setting up a winner-takes-all clash on the final day, which they won to secure the title. It is desperately unlucky for Hearts, who had the chance to make history and become the first non-Old Firm side to win the title since Aberdeen in 1984-85. They came up just short in the end after taking the title decider right to the wire. However, with Tony Bloom’s £10 million investment and Jamestown Analytics partnership beginning to bear fruit, I am sure this is just the beginning of the Tony Bloom era at Tynecastle. As Bloom himself stated, he expects Hearts to be a force in Europe within the next five to ten years. A disappointing season for Rangers, who finish 3rd and face another summer rebuild. Will Danny Rohl remain in charge? A fantastic season for Motherwell, who finish 4th and enter the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Conference League. The big question now is, can they keep their squad together for next season, and more importantly, can they keep their manager? Hibs will be disappointed with their 5th-place finish after being 3rd last season. However, they may still have European football to look forward to if Celtic win the Scottish Cup Final against Dunfermline Athletic next weekend. Falkirk enjoyed a terrific first season back in the top flight, securing an impressive top 6 finish. It was a season to forget for Dundee United (7th) and Aberdeen (9th), who finished in the bottom half. Both will be looking to improve massively next season. Dundee finished 8th and will take positives after a difficult start. An impressive ending to the season for Neil McCann's Kilmarnock, finishing 10th (on 40 points, level with Aberdeen) after it looked like they were heading towards the play-offs at one stage. St Mirren are into the play-off against Partick Thistle in a battle to remain in the Premiership next season. Livi are relegated after finishing bottom of the table. And of course St Johnstone are promoted straight back to the Premiership! Bring on next season! #SPFL #ScottishFootball #CelticFC #HeartsFC #RangersFC #MotherwellFC #HibernianFC #FalkirkFC #DundeeUnitedFC #DundeeFC #AberdeenFC #KilmarnockFC #StMirrenFC #LivingstonFC #StJohnstoneFC #PartickThistleFC

Why is ANYONE surprised? Just how many people are actually involved in the most obvious conspiracy in plain sight? There must be a full investigation to see for example how Celtic bought the officials?
