@CalumAM @joannaccherry @TimesRadio Joanna Cherry demanding John Swinney resign over the party finances is a laugh. She lost her seat by over 20% in 2024 because her own local Indy supporters were completely sick of her infighting and stayed home. Mainstream independence voters have totally moved on from her.
English

@ITVBorderRB @DearIain @BeresfordSenga she’ll be getting questioned when entering the ladies by terf willy checkers
English

Reform UK MSP Senga Beresford tells Scottish Government to 'stop focusing on the politics of division'.
In her maiden Holyrood speech, @BeresfordSenga says she sends two of her children to school in England, due to concerns about Scottish education
English

@ITVBorderRB @DearIain @BeresfordSenga these Anglo-Brit Scots are traitors and should be treated with the level of respect that accords
English

@alexandertolano @dunsmuir_s33559 the English bribed the Scots nobles in secret and also used the huge threat that Scots would be banned from trading with England if they didn’t say yes. Plus the english had troops at the border just in case they said no. Nasty coup d’état. Should be dismissed as illegal by UN
English

@dunsmuir_s33559 @SconeOf No, I'm not referring to the union of the crowns. That happened when James VI accepted the crown of England.
He tried very hard to achieve a union of the Parliaments.
English

@dunsmuir_s33559 @alexandertolano 1707 union is extremely shady. There are contemp english spy records stating it was done in secret because 99% of Scots would be outraged. When they found out there was rioting. And people did warn at the time that a union of parls with a much bigger country=being ruled by them
English

@alexandertolano @SconeOf That’s the union of the crowns you’re referring to, yep, there never was one and the union of the parliaments is a lie. That makes us a colony.
English

@dunsmuir_s33559 @alexandertolano union of crowns is not as big an issue as power was basically stripped from royals by parliament within 40ys of that union. The one that matters most is the union of parliaments of 1707. That’s when we lost our sovereignty. It was done by bribes+threats in secret2a room of toffs
English

@GallagherD49902 and I have heard a story from a couple of insiders which appears to be the likely time and method of blackmail. The fact this has never been reported in the press confirms it was held back for blackmail purposes
English

@GallagherD49902 not really. I think he came under blackmail control in 2023 and imo he blatantly threw the critical 1st live tv debate with Darling (and didn’t sound sober to me). I think NS worked that out too -hence her attitude to him post indyref.
English

@BloodybushEdge he was basically sponsored by MSM for many years. Indy would never get that. The bbc went rogue after 2010 just in time for v right wing influence. People who call the bbc lefty are crazy. Certainly not in last 15ys. It’s chocca with RW political output
English

@AlasdairSa77574 When 9 out of every 20 voted yes and we knew the NO vote was skewed to the oldest voters, that was never going to be final say. None of the half million aged 16-27 have ever voted on indy and the same who voted in 2014 are dead and shouldn’t be posthumously dictating future
English

@SconeOf Oh dry your eyes
SNP got their way with a clearly loaded question and selected the franchise - but still got well beaten 55.1% No to 44.9%Yes
English

@Mersecrofter plus actual born Scots voted 52% yes in 2014. It was reduced to 45% bc vast bulk rUK blow ins and EU citizens (they are told the union would guarantee EU status) voted NO. Next time we should have a 5 year min residency rule.
English

@watchingferries @Innealadair @katiec1314 nobody can set a %. They can aim high but not make it a threshold. Brexit went through on a knife edge.Yes is 60%+ now excluding the over 60s.
English

@SconeOf @Innealadair @katiec1314 The SNP historically said a year of polls consistently showing over 60% support for independence.
In the 327 polls since the referendum there has not been a single poll that showed support at 60%.
English

@BloodybushEdge Scots are not like the English. Farrage appeals to the English bc he is posh and cad-like and the english love that and are much more cap doffing than lefty scotland who generally get hackles up hearing posh voices. But imo Eck was shite in the last 7 months+stalled yes growth
English

@BloodybushEdge Eck imo blew it in the 1st debate with Darling. He was awful. But overall the yes support went up from about 33% in 2022 to 45% in the huge boots on ground campaign to bypass the biased MSM. Many had never heard indy arguments infiltrated by the unionist MSM before.
English

@Mersecrofter nope the yoons are heavily skewed to the over 60 voters. The 16-55 voters combined are about 66% pro indy. It’s even higher among the young adults. So dad’s army v younger Scots
English

@SconeOf There's more of them than you though, so I'd be careful with that kind of shit.
English

@BjCruickshank @KnightAngel45 pBiggest slipping in of plants was 2015-16 when the snp foolishly chose many on how fancy their CV was, not on any known long activist track record. That let many plants in. Others I think were blackmailed. By their actor you know them even if you can’t prove
English

@BjCruickshank @KnightAngel45 I think it’s fair to conclude most of the bitterists were plants in the party all along or blackmailed due2 skeletons. They were designed to cause bad PR and division. Others tried to get into the SNP as candidates or into NEC but failed. I can easily spot a handful of them too
English

@BjCruickshank @KnightAngel45 The trojan model he they cause bad PR while in party. They tend to leave the snp or cease standing when their case officer realises theyve blown cover and need to shift to role B - get used by bbc a token snp/pro indy (but actually yoon) commentator.
