Someone: The CTO came in and plugged his laptop into the wall socket and it made a loud spark and broke the charger. Me: ok Someone: he then wanted to see if this would happen to everyone else’s chargers. He did it two more times and broke those chargers too. Me: hahaha Someone: he’s at Apple now getting the laptops and chargers examined.

AI will speed up interior designers but unless you actually know the profession well and what they do then I'd say it's best not to claim it is 'obsolete' There are thousands of nuances that make a great interior designer. From working with manu. availability, designing down to a 1/16th of inch so things are to spec and can be installed correctly. Coordinating with home owners and other trades for permits. It's just a tool, nobody is cooked yet. Even in engineering and architecture. People with no background in AEC can't make these determinations. It will get there but this isn't it.
