Was it embedded, QAC? I had several a few years back, but was able to properly remove them. I actually missed one stuck in my belly button for over a week, but no symptoms persisted. If you just had a bite, without having one embedded under your skin, you should be fine, but of course, keep an eye for symptoms, and follow with your Primary Care Physician if necessary.
