From the tweet you’ve just wrote, I assume you have never had to run a relatively large scale retail business? If you had, you’d realise it’s not as easy as just ‘swapping courier’! @Siobhanjanis @Kaduflyer1 @CWUnews Completely agree! My customers think normal service resumes after strike days. We try to explain about the backlogs that have occurred on strike days but it falls on deaf ears. Royal Mail are happy to strike for THEIR PAY, but what about ours? Self employed don’t have the luxury

@Kaduflyer1 @Scott_wright_76 @CWUnews Of course the support is there from those who don’t rely on it . I’m all for supporting fair pay and conditions. At what price thou, we are shutting Friday no point in posting next week and that will have a BIG effect on my family.

@whitty111 @CWUnews We do! But it's getting very hard to keep saying the same thing to our customers. When Royal Mail have had their orders for nearly two weeks! Customers are now starting to do charge backs, and make complaints to PayPal.

@Kaduflyer1 @CWUnews Absolutely not, they are aware. But when their orders left us nearly 2 weeks ago, It's getting frustrating to keep mentioning the strike. Even on non strike days, collections are getting missed from us, lack of mail supplies. All we get is a shrug of the shoulders from RM drivers
