@chhcalling Chris, like you I've spent a lot of time over the last decade on the campaign trail. Working hard to get the data to get "our" voters out on the day. Sadly, I don't think it works. Well resourced campaigns make 200 or 300 votes difference at most.

7) And controversially, hustings count for way less than they ever use to. Individual conversations on doorsteps/outside shops etc matter much much more. Getting the data to get your vote out on the day is where the time should be spent.

This complete ignorance and concealment of Shayan's situation has heightened concerns about torture and the severe life risks that threaten him. His family and acquaintances are in a debilitating and frightening situation and all doors have been closed to them. Experience has shown that the disappearance of a prisoner exposes the life of a prisoner to the greatest harm. We must shout out Shayan's name so that under the pressure of public opinion, the security institutions are forced to respond and a trace of him can be found.
