So since you have a PhD I assume you realize your comment is a form of the Appeal to Authority fallacy. I want to college too and don't feel touting my credentials is meaningful as it is the result of a system designed for relatively low IQ people (e.g. 110-120 IQ). There is nothing all that special about. But sure, go on about your PhD which primarily means you are semi-smart but not very smart as most very smart people find a PhD track too intellectually stifling and boring.

I did not say anything now about genocide. But since you bring up the topic, I would argue that if somehow the war in Gaza is a genocide, then it is nothing like any other historical genocide. It is a unique genocide determined by rules that only apply to it. For example, during the Holocaust 2/3rds of European Jewry were murdered. Only recently, 80+ years later is it estimated that the worldwide Jewish population has returned to levels from pre-WW2. On the other hand in Gaza, the population is barely changed from before and after the war. For those who claim there is a long-term genocide... in that long-term genocide the affected population has only grown. These are characteristics that are indistinguishable from many conflicts that no one has called genocide and completely at odds with every incident of genocide in history. But sure, you can list all these people and organizations that call it genocide. Whatever man. Hamas says about 70,000 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza war. I have no reason to deny that number. But you want to claim a war is genocide, fine, but my question is why does it not look like any genocide in history at all?! Supposedly this is the most documented genocide in history. It should be really easy to explain how it is genocide, but for some reason everyone resorts to pointing their fingers at some supposed expert because no one can actually coherently explain how it is a genocide. If anything, I would argue that calling a war that is not a genocide, a genocide, is actually genocide denial and the people claiming there is a genocide in Gaza are the ones more likely to be neo-Nazis... In fact... I just asked Grok if neo-Nazis call Gaza a genocide and it responded that overwhelming they do. I should say I am surprised, but I am not.
