@centre_right_ Perhaps Baron Houchen can explain the number one position.

London pedestrians are more at risk these days from cyclists than from vehicles. They swarm the pavements, sail through red lights & ped crossings, & if you remonstrate they of course swear & shout at you to fuck off. National, London & local govt & @metpoliceuk do nothing.

Doctor here
Worked in a hospital in the UK during Covid
No TikTok dances at ours
Or YouTube for that matter
Just a very full intensive care unit packed with people dying from Covid
Wasn't a hoax
I was there
You weren't
Glad I could clear that up for you
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman
FYI... Dancing nurses' videos were a sign that COVID was a hoax.

@CliveWismayer Difference between a Dutch Breakfast and a Dutch Lunch ? Ans, about four hours.

No country gets everything right. Germans, Italians, French & Belgians do not put up with crap food. Right now, very unusually, I’m into fruit. I tried an 🍎 & a 🍑. Both beautiful to look at. Van Gogh might have painted them. But absolutely no taste, like eating cardboard.
The Dutch are somehow the world’s second largest food exporters (stunning fact) but man, they need to work on the fruit.
Neither is Dutch bread that great, ranking alongside the crap that passes for bread in the UK. One of the delights of travel is delicious, crusty bread.
Sorry dear Dutch friends, but facts are facts.

@Chickens_Lips @rstk8 @JeremyClarkson A deal was offered but that nice Mr Johnson wanted us to be treated just like folk from Australia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and........I could go on.
English

@rstk8 @JeremyClarkson The EU, if they wanted, could have negotiated a Common Travel Area agreement much like they do in Ireland but they chose to punish us. This is by choice.

@WG_RumblePants Or Matthew Valentine Fleming , after all they both played for Kent.

@WiltsAnnabelle Like Bishops and other folk in the House of Lords or is that English exceptionalism and Ok ?

Brexit was never about Ptolemy and Jemima getting faster tickets to go inter railing on their gap yah.
It was, is, and always will be about the sovereignty of our Parliament and the ability for British people to elect (and remove) the people who make our laws.
Jeremy Clarkson@JeremyClarkson
Brexit enthusiasts: I hope you’re all enjoying the queues at your holiday airports this year.

Can someone tell me what is the return on investment we taxpayers get on Chris Philps?

@jcartlidgemp @CPhilpOfficial @wesstreeting I believe Mr Philp and his charter were in French territorial waters - reckon the navy ship may refer to this as sovereignty .
English

This is pretty shocking stuff from the French navy. My Shadow Cabinet colleague @CPhilpOfficial is a British politician, not the navy of a hostile state. I hope @wesstreeting will be condemning this intimidation & demanding an urgent explanation from his French counterpart.

He needs to buck his ideas up, not pinch Keir Starmer's ideas, and start acting like a Prime Minster, instead of acting like a cheap, car salesman.

"we don't like to see injustice in our country" says Burnham, after he engineered a coup for a year, got an MP to stand down so he can be parachuted in, then ushered into no.10 without a contest or scrutiny. To steal what Starmer had achieved. No. We don't like to see injustice.

The close relationship between the FIFA President and the US President has reached a financial dimension that is deeply damaging football. No one has the right to sell our game. #GianniInfantino #DonaldTrump #FIFA #UEFA #USA #Sellout
