Celtic winning the league via a controversial penalty in the 98th minute of 95 added is just very fitting. Call it out

This season has been off the charts in terms of Celtic bailouts. Last minute penalties, extra injury time played until they score. Offside goals getting to stand The post-split fixtures were rigged for 1 team SFA are getting what they plotted Celtic’s title. Shite for Hearts

Genuinely there should be a public inquiry into the extent of cheating & corruption in Scottish football. What do Celtic have on Beaton et al that they can manage to have ‘professional’ referees shamelessly & flagrantly cheating live on television? John Beaton in particular will carry for the rest of his life the stain of having cheated (repeatedly), having been corrupted by Celtic Football Club. In years to come it’s sure to come out just what they had on him.

🚨 The journalist: “What do you think about Lamine Yamal’s actions yesterday during FC Barcelona’s league title celebrations, and should a player avoid interfering in matters unrelated to football?” Pep Guardiola: “And should you also avoid interfering in things that are not your specialty? You are here to ask me about tomorrow’s match against Crystal Palace F.C.. Despite that, I will answer your question..... A football player is a role model followed by millions, and his opinion is influential, so he should express his opinion when necessary. What would you do if you found your wife and children under the rubble of homes like them there? Would you come here to the press conference to talk about a player wearing a shirt and running after a ball?? Of course not!! You do not choose the topics we want to talk about, so those are things outside your specialty. Lamine’s stance is something he should be proud of — he has now become the talk of the world.”

Michelle O’Neill is the JOINT First Minister (as she used to call herself whilst DFM, but in keeping with nationalism’s supremacy, this vanished when she became FM).
Emma Little-Pengelly BL@little_pengelly

Turning Up, Standing Up and Representing for EVERYONE in Northern Ireland as YOUR deputy First Minister - an equal and joint role, legally and constitutionally. When some are routinely absent, just AWOL, or continuously focused on dismantling and narrow political agendas, I along with your DUP Ministers and team turn up, stand up and champion Northern Ireland. Consistently, strongly and unapologetically pro Northern Ireland. When others talk, I show by action and by my presence. Should that be at the highest levels politically, for our important investments, announcements, and issues. Advocating for our businesses, sectors, arts and sport. Championing Northern Ireland. Turning up matters. Standing up for Northern Ireland matters. Speaking up for our sectors, our sports, for investment opportunities - it matters. I count it as a huge honour and responsibility to serve as your deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland. I will never take that for granted or shy away from doing all I can. Let us be absolutely clear - I do so in a co-equal role. This is legally and constitutionally clear, as inconvenient as it may be to some. When Michelle O'Neill was deputy First Minister, she and her party referred to her as the Joint First Minister. Something they now seek to ignore for political convenience. I have never focussed on titles but on the job I am there to do - but I will not allow others to diminish the constitutional realities nor the role. The message of the elections across Great Britain is actually one about people demanding delivery. While DUP Ministers have been pushing ahead with ambition and drive, actually getting things done, others seek to spin and blame others for their failings. When some nationalists across the UK seek to unite to pull apart the Union, seeking huge disruptive and destructive constitutional change - what the people actually want is strong leadership that improves lives. Look at the votes - there is no mandate for nationalist independence. The big message was one of getting on with the work,, common sense politics and successes for the people we serve, not spin. So let's get on with it - driving down those health waiting lists, public service reform and improvements, growing the economy in Northern Ireland (not losing jobs through boycotts and political showboating). I believe in strong, passionate and positive representation. I am determined - the DUP team is determined 💪

This event is open to all (students and non students) tonight at 7pm. I will be discussing nationalism’s march through the institutions, and why unionism must counter-attack relentlessly in the culture war.

Gerry Adams was a senior member of the IRA - according to recently released files. But besides some minor social media commentary, the Northern Ireland media have completely ignored it. Probably in fear of a lawsuit. I get that the story is a bit underwhelming. The way it would be if you had uncovered new evidence that the earth is round, but given Adam’s position within Sinn Fein, and continual denials of membership, the media must still report it and even put it to the party.

The only UK paper to have the funerals of 160 Iranian schoolgirls on its front page this morning is the Metro freesheet. Quite simply, had they been Israeli schoolgirls the coverage would have been immense. You can lie to yourself and say it's not true – but we all know it is.

@JBuckleyMLA @duponline Your leader left London to fly to Belfast to complain that Michelle didn't attend that meeting and sent her deputy first minister instead. Your leader of the DUP and an MP was eligible to also be at that meeting but felt standing in Stormont complaining could be a vote winner!

🗣️ Michelle O’Neill has always been quick to call herself 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥. By refusing to attend UK cabinet briefings on the Iran crisis, she’s shaping up to be the 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲
