Hey, @TMobile can you PLEASE get your political spam texts under control. This should be a no brainer for you guys. I can’t be the only one who’s tired of this.
Now Trump is going after the Pope.
He says "I don't want a Pope who thinks it's OK for Iran to have a nuclear weapon."
However, Pope Leo XIV has called for a world "free from the nuclear threat."
This is gaslighting and straw-manning and everyone should be able to recognize this.
Those in power need to grow a backbone and start calling it out for what it is.
@benjamincowen My one wish was for @benjamincowen to not become political.
Sigh.
I think with power comes your desire to express your political opinion
Someone could go to school for 4 years and study aerospace engineering, then get a PhD with a dissertation related to orbital mechanics, and some instagram influencer who watched a youtube video will be like "actually that guy is wrong" on a topic related to space travel and people will believe them.
I'm not sure how we got here, but I hope we go back to a society where credibility is earned with rigorous training in the associated field, not by a popularity contest.
We can't talk about our state's budget without talking about the Big Betrayal Bill, which cut essential services like Medicaid in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

@elonmusk You will never actually own your EV, because it will be useless without the software that you can never remove, replace, or modify
And someone will always be able to remotely shut off your car
Stick to internal combustion engines with as few computers as possible
I'm confident that most people, including most millionaires, will support a Millionaires' Tax where wealthy folks pay a bit more and Washington families and small businesses get tax relief.
These dollars are going to help out thousands and thousands of Washingtonians.
During this holiday season, I'm spending a lot of time thinking about those who still don't have access to their homes, or who are continuing to deal with damage to their home, business, or local infrastructure. We're continuing to work to get as much assistance as possible to you.
I'm also thinking about the inspiring ways that Washingtonians have come together during this historic flooding. I'm so grateful to everyone who has stepped up to help.
We'll get through this challenge together. Merry Christmas, Washington.
At this point I just hope the wealthiest Washingtonians finally have had enough of their state government and @GovBobFerguson and leave.
Just when you think he couldn’t get any worse!
