Overwatch players would benefit the most if they understood that they don't know how to move their mouse appropriately.
They would benefit the MOST from aim trainers, but unfortunately have an ego larger than Matty's Kovaaks hours.

Let's stop strictly linking aim trainer players to CS/Val/TacFPS. High demand for aim =/= High intensity or ease of expression of aim. Been playing a lot of CS lately. While good aim is absolutely required, it's difficult to fully express it with the filters the game imposes.

We can't base a debate on visual perception... That's inconclusive. OW isn't even the ONLY game you have to aim in.
Also, this just means that aim doesn't mean everything in game!! It really doesn't at all, it's not even among the Top 5 most important things.

Okay, now this is funny. Proper would be better at aim training than me prolly after a good hundred hours of playing.
However, it would still take Proper hundreds of hours to snipe some of my good Air scores 😭😭😭😭
Let alone my lower level tracking scores like PGTI.

Although, hitting high rank in OW means nothing if you're not Rank 1 🤓

THIS IS GENUINELY FUNNY, no one will believe me but there is game sense in Aim Trainers... Nowhere near the extent of actual games but it does exist.
Anyways, I'm not arguing that Overwatch isn't more complex or a more difficult game. 1/

@RestTarRr @tabeebFPS @Matty_OW This is where the confusion happens with these types of limited character Twitter debates.
Games in general will ALWAYS have more depth than aim training. We must now navigate the extremities of statistics, player populations, etc.
Mind you, I'm an advocate for both sides...

@SegsIV @tabeebFPS @Matty_OW Matty is goated and his aim is out of this world but him being hard stuck in games proves what we already knew. FPS games require far more than just aiming. The literal best aimer in the world is getting clapped by people who don't even have half as good aim as him.

@tabeebFPS @RestTarRr @Matty_OW Totally agree with this. My message #2 was trying to do the same. The two fields are similar, but aren't the "same."
No comparison should be made.
Also, it's less body building and more of a "strength training" aspect. LeBron can def lift, but that's not the only thing he does.

@tabeebFPS @RestTarRr @Matty_OW However, Matty dominates every aiming style. Proper is an Overwatch deity, but he’s still a DPS specialist, not THE Tank/Supp goat.
Kovaaks feels easier because it’s sterile and predictable. OW is real-time chaos with opponents who fight back intelligently. Two different worlds.

@tabeebFPS @RestTarRr @Matty_OW Matty is Michael Phelps of aim training. Proper is Michael Phelps of Overwatch.
Both do everything at the highest level in different domains.
Except, Matty was the best at all different aiming styles while Proper still isn't the best Tank/Supp.
Kovaaks is easier than OW...1/

@Gh0ztfr3ak @len_nrd This is true, but coaching macro CORRECTLY is much harder than coaching micro correctly.
There is an incredible amount of nuance related to the correct decision for macro coaching. Easier to teach someone the basics of macro, but an infinitely higher ceiling than micro coaching.

I love my life and have only started trying at the age of 23 (got what I needed from gaming ~2 months ago) and am now enjoying life even more than I did before.
Which should've been impossible tbh.

However, it's due to different skill sets being tested. I don't believe Matty would be able to hit Rank 1 in OW either (if you meant Rank 1 World).
What OW players don't get is that Matty is him...
