@CalvinMcClure9 If I’d fallen asleep in early 2015 and woken today to see you poll which excludes Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey would wonder how bad things must have one while I was napping - not criticising your poll. But Tony and Joes absence speaks volumes for those on the list

Booing at the Dawn Service on ANZAC Day during the Acknowledgement of Country is not only disrespectful of First Nations people it is disrespectful of all those who fought for our country - including my father. He would have been appalled.

@lkoori8 Steve Perryman. Could acquit himself anywhere on the pitch. Remained loyal despite relegation, then led the team to cup wins on return to first division. Still a great ambassador for the club

🚨Why won’t Chris Bowen just answer the question? He has turned down interview requests from Liam Bartlett 13 times. Our power bills are going up and up. Our industry is being decimated. Bowen's energy policy (which is really just a continuation of the prior government's policy) is responsible for our challenges. It should be properly scrutinised. It should be challenged because it is clearly not working. That much is obvious. Liam Bartlett wants to give Bowen the opportunity to explain things one-on-one. Yet, he continues to refuse the requests. Instead, he makes fun of Liam, he turns to favourable journalists instead. But the public have a right to know. I understand why Bowen doesn't want scrutiny. Chris Bowen is absolutely floundering. We suffer as he ducks and weaves. We suffer as he hides from the light. We suffer due to his incompetence. We suffer for his secrecy. It is not nearly good enough. Bowen must answer to the public for what he does to us. I just want Australia back! 🇦🇺

Did anyone else notice that at 2pm today, the SMH headline online was to the effect of: “Taylor claims credit for reduction in fuel excise”, but by 4pm it had changed to the effect of: “Albanese on collision course with RBA over fuel excise cut”.

@Ronhotspur He cops a lot of stick from the so called fans who have responded to this thread. But, he, Tel and Richarlson at least made it clear they wanted to win.

@AdamWagner1990 I agree, but he needs to realise that he doesn’t yet have the skill or technique to do it alone. There were chances today where Archie had got into a better space that MT but he missed the chance. He and AG are what we need at the moment

You know who fights for Tottenham? Tel. He did it last year, too. He isn’t a perfect player, but he’s earned so much more time.

@michaeltech100 Agree entirely. The only bright spots today came from him - Tel threw his heart into the game and sparked us up but didn’t seem to know what to do when it counted - AG converted one of Tels runs into a goal and almost used a second for the draw

@pnspur @thejacksvn Hoo f***ing ray. At last a Spurs fan who realises that you don’t sack a coach in a vacuum. He needs to be replaced. And if you risk losing the momentum by appointing John The Pragmatist and he fails, the decision to sack Ange is just as wrong as the decision to appoint Frank.

@thejacksvn The funny thing so many who wanted him out lauded Franks appointment. They are also revisionists of Ange’s tenure and only talk about his 2nd PL season and so continue to say it was the right decision. They forget it’s only the right decision if you replaced him with better.

@bright_eyes3000 @thejacksvn If Frank was the wrong choice, who should they have chosen? If you sack a coach who has the team on board and momentum from the EL win, if you sack him you are wrong if you don’t hire someone better. You can’t justify a sacking unless you have a replacement

@thejacksvn Nope the decision to appoint Frank was the wrong one, but that doesn’t make the decision to sack Ange wrong at all. Ange needed to go, we needed better than Frank. Ange started the rot that is our league form

@KjaerTravel @thejacksvn Except if you sack Ange you’ve got to hire someone. If Frank was the best choice then sacking Ange was wrong.

It’s almost like firing a manager the players loved & replacing him with someone who constantly reminds us “we finished 17th last season” & “aren’t really a CL club” hasn’t worked. Took the spark that should have started the fire after Bilbao, and snuffed it straight out. Grim.

@JeanxTHFC Those freaks include Spurs’ podcasts. The ones I listen to embraced winning the EL but then clamoured for Ange’s sacking. Ange had a vision that included Gray, Bergwall and others at their peak. That would take time and a bit of pain. But our podcast pundits didn’t have the balls

For everyone who told me that backing Ange meant I was fine with relegation, we now have the manager you were begging for, and we’re sitting three points off relegation - way closer than we ever got last season. I remember you all, freaks

🚨🎙️ Vinai Venkatesham has issued a statement to #thfc fans in tomorrow’s matchday programme… ⤵️ “As we reach the halfway point of our season, I wanted to share an update on our plans for the future. “The joint ambition of our Executive Team, Board and The Lewis Family is clear: to see our Men's team competing regularly in the Champions League and for major trophies, while significantly raising the competitive level of our Women's team. “Our focus is sporting success, and in that we share the same ambition as our supporters. We know that words carry little weight without action, which is why recent months have been spent undertaking a thorough review of our operations. “Opportunities for a genuine reset are rare in clubs of our size and we have been determined not to waste this moment as we make the changes needed behind the scenes to compete consistently at the highest level. “Football has changed significantly in recent years and, while the Club has evolved and achieved incredible things, we recognise that in some key areas we have not always kept pace. We all feel the gap between where we are and where we want to be and, while we know progress takes time, we share your impatience to close it. Our supporters want wins and performances to be proud of and we know the Men’s first team has fallen short of where we want to be so far this season. Significant work is underway.”
