It is an offence under section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 to wear clothing that indicates support for a proscribed organisation. This display was an affront to the rule of law & an insult to victims. I trust a thorough criminal investigation follows. Swift justice is required.

‼️🇺🇸 Straight out of a war movie. Late night, US special forces locate the second pilot and land a transport for extraction but it gets stuck. Operators are forced to hold positions under fire as three more aircraft rush in for a high-risk rescue.
At the same time, a C-130 gets trapped in sand at a remote base in Iran. With no recovery possible, a Delta element destroys it on the spot. Two US aircraft gone in one mission.

Details about the rescue op for the U.S. Weapon Systems Officer, via a U.S. military official:
"The mountain top area on the left is where the WSO was hiding (he ejected 5ish miles northwest of there). The right area is the makeshift landing strip where they landed 2 C-130s and had 4 MH-6 Little Birds.
"One Little Bird flew to that mountain top area and rescued the WSO and brought him back to the landing strip. And of course the two C-130s' nose gears got stuck in the dirt. So after a few hours they had to bring in three AFSOC Dash-8s to fly out the rescued WSO and the 100 or so personnel involved in the op." 1/2

Interesting article by an Irish journalist who recently visited Cuba. I like Kneecap, admire their advocacy for Irish unity and the Irish language. I publicly supported them when they faced ridiculous terrorism charges. Loved the movie. But their decision not to speak up for human rights or democracy while in Cuba, even for artists censored and imprisoned there, was a lost opportunity to speak truth to power and do some good

Some people were implying that the rescue of the WSO could act as an “off ramp” for Trump in Iran. If anything, I personally believe that the successful operation and ability to set up a FARP inside Iran may embolden the Trump admin in regards to future ground operations.

The reason these firms tell their employees not to intervene is to protect firm from liability. If staff get hurt in an altercation with a shoplifter, they could sue firm for failing to protect them. They told this guy not to engage, and he did anyway. Snitches don't get rewarded
