Father Exposes CBC Bias in Humboldt Broncos Tragedy: “They’ve Been Notorious for This”
“It’s not your story to tell,” says former NHL player Chris Joseph, who lost his son in the Humboldt Broncos tragedy in 2018 when foreign truck driver Jaskirat Sidhu blew through a stop sign and killed 16 people, including his son, Jaxon Joseph.
Joseph repeated his accusations against CBC of being biased in favour of Sidhu, who is fighting his deportation order after serving merely 3.5 years in prison for causing the deaths of 16 people and injuring 13 Canadians through his negligence.
“Let everybody speak, but don’t chop and edit to narrate the story the way you want it to be done. @karenpaulscbc did that with CBC. She played soft music when the Sidhus were walking through the park holding hands together, and then when she interviewed Russ Herold, who was on my side, it was a cold ring via Zoom call. She just doesn’t give the same attention to detail. I wish mainstream media would grow a backbone and tell it like it is,” @cjoseph23 said.

I experienced the exact same thing when I was interviewed by Barton. I spent 2 hours on camera with her criticizing the Trudeau gov & RCMP over their failure to properly handle the kidnapping & murder of 2 CDN’s. Of course I had to show her & her producer all the evidence I had to back up my claims & afterwards her producer took me to lunch to thank me.
My 2 hours of screen time turned into 40 seconds during the broadcast & was focused on the least important thing I said. Her expose was a joke! That was a decade ago & CBC is still at it.
My bad for thinking they really cared about the victims, their families & the incompetence of the RCMP & the Trudeau gov!
Sad to see the Humboldt families discovering the same thing!

Belgium Police basically surround me while I’m live streaming… and then this happened, I was in Belgium filming the migrant situation when multiple Belgian police vans and officers suddenly approached me on the street.
They admitted they had been watching my livestream the entire time. They took me back to my hotel, checked my ID, and searched the place.
My trip to Belgium came to a very abrupt end. Migrant trafficking gangs are now openly threatening to shoot me in the head. On top of that, the French authorities have already banned me and now it looks like the Belgian police are monitoring me too.
This is a lot bigger than any of us realise. They really don’t want the truth coming out about what’s happening on the ground.

We have a happy ending. My arborist sent one of their friends who just happened to be an arborist and ex-animal control. We successfully rescued the little one and off to check its health then off to rehab.

Fuck me. I have a Robin somehow stuck way up in a tree on my projects. 311 and Toronto services can't help so ive reached out to my personal arborist who's now coming to see if we can rescue it. Even a rescue centre cant help and weve spent a fucking hour now just on details. 🤬

The level of overreach and outright disregard from those in positions of power is becoming more exposed by the day.
What’s increasingly difficult to understand is this: who do they believe they are protecting when the first response is to silence, shame, disparage, and attack the very people they are meant to serve?
Public office is not a shield from scrutiny, it is a responsibility to answer to it.
When criticism is treated as something to suppress rather than address, it raises a more fundamental concern: are decisions being made in the public interest, or in the interest of preserving power?
Because a government that turns on its own citizens is not protecting the public, it is protecting itself.
