Found yet another high severity systemd bug in Ubuntu: local root privilege escalation (CVE-2026-3888) cybersecurity88.com/news/ubuntu-cv… Let us wish all Devuan users a wonderful day out with their family for a merry father's day, instead of showeling unicorn shit.

@MarathonTheGame @Bungie Why do you hate EU players that much?
English

@Donoram @MarathonTheGame What most people? Are you enslaved? Blink twice.
English

@MarathonTheGame Oh cool, Bungie is unaware that most people don't get weekends off anymore.
English

Sooner or later everything related to Poettering will be ripped out of Linux. github.com/systemd/system…

@NinjaBurritoGuy @MarathonTheGame Not knowing that Earth has time zones is not a beta-testing kind of issue.
English

@SergeyMoiseev @MarathonTheGame ranked is in a beta state for s1 - so these sort of issues are exactly waht they're looking to get feedback on
English

@FirstProton @benhylak Ask your Claude to discuss survivorship bias with you.
English

@SergeyMoiseev @benhylak regularly use dangerous skip permissions wihtout issue. this post is a lie
English

I was today old when I realised that yesterday's bots behavior in the Marathon was intentional.
UESC Security Command@UESC_Sec
UESC NOTICE: Reinforcement systems showing minor behavioral deviations. - Units pausing for unnecessary gestures - Target prioritization replaced with “vibes” - Non-combat movement patterns increasing - Audio logs contain unauthorized laughter - Engagement discipline degrading Runner cultural interference suspected. Correction protocols initiated. Resistance required.
English

@vpatryshev @benhylak Lol, you still around, old timer. His IDE is Claude Code, you should try it sometimes.
English

@FirstProton @benhylak Oh my sweet summer child. You should try "accept edits" sometimes. It'll open a world of pain to you.
English

@benhylak I think you’re lying in this post. I have never seen Claude intentionally nuke changes. Ever. It would ask you to proceed, even with dangerously skipping permissions.
English

@benhylak github.com/anthropics/cla… this bug here for weeks.
English

No shit Sherlock. You literally deliver product "features" that zero out each other once every two weeks.
Boris Cherny@bcherny
@sandislonjsak I feel this

@TheTacoTim So a fake screenshot asked you? Seek medical attention.
English

Granted, this is slightly negated with the introduction of duos into Marathon. It's just not a good feeling to queue in with a kit, find that both of your teammates are free kits, and then you are forced to 1v3 most fights
(not to mention said free kit teammates vacuuming up loot like a goddamn Dyson)

@pjames122 @MarathonTheGame 21st is not a Friday. 10 am PT is 6 pm GMT.
English

@SergeyMoiseev @MarathonTheGame It doesn’t end until Tuesday and starts on Friday. EU misses part of Friday I guess but since it goes through Tuesday everyone gets all of Saturday/Sunday (and Monday)

New package: Volt ⚡ — frontend build tool for Elixir.
Dev server with HMR, code splitting, Tailwind CSS v4, TypeScript. Vue SFC support included. No Node.js required.
Part of a new ecosystem alongside QuickBEAM, oxc_ex, and npm_ex.
The stack:
• OXC — Rust JS toolchain (same engine behind Vite 8's Rolldown), as a NIF
• Vize — Vue SFC compiler, Vapor IR, SSR, CSS Modules, @import bundling — all via Rust NIFs (LightningCSS inside)
• Oxide — Tailwind v4 class scanning (Rust NIF)
• QuickBEAM — JS runtime on the BEAM
In a Phoenix project, replaces esbuild wrapper + tailwind CLI + node_modules:
𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚏𝚒𝚐 :𝚟𝚘𝚕𝚝,
𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚢: "𝚊𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚝𝚜/𝚓𝚜/𝚊𝚙𝚙.𝚝𝚜",
𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝: :𝚎𝚜𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟶,
𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚕: ~𝚠(𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚡 𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚡_𝚑𝚝𝚖𝚕 𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚡_𝚕𝚒𝚟𝚎_𝚟𝚒𝚎𝚠),
𝚝𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚠𝚒𝚗𝚍: [𝚌𝚜𝚜: "𝚊𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚝𝚜/𝚌𝚜𝚜/𝚊𝚙𝚙.𝚌𝚜𝚜", 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚎𝚜: [...]]
Early research preview — expect rough edges, missing features, and API changes. More coming soon.

It cheats all the way. "not my code", "not our problem", "just deleting everything". I am feeling like a freaking bomb squad all the time. Intervene in time to not allow Claude to flood me with unimportant details while claiming these approaches.
Matteo Collina@matteocollina
Now that I’m using both Claude and Codex daily, I’m seeing that Claude tries to “cheat” more often, eg deleting a failing test. What’s your experience?
English

@trq212 How about you fix the fucking skills already? That is really tiresome and killing the whole point of skill existence:
