@ruppp_juju This is a genuine skill issue on your part. This specific minigame is the easiest one and you let yourself get hit by the same punch 3 times. It's not the games fault you react like a snail.

@MightyGazelle1 You're 2 chapters in, you're barely even 10% through the game. If by chapter 6-7, (you'll have 6 party members total by the middle of 7), you still aren't feeling it don't force it. Xc1's combat doesn't get a massive shake up like X, 2, and 3 so it can feel a bit stale at times.

@hyxkkimxru It's just very inconsistent. Sometimes it'll be very obvious sometimes it won't. They'll look fine in a in-game cutscene one moment then look fine in gameplay until you move the camera closer. Hopefully part 3 fixes this.

@empyrealviolet I believe he's reinforcing the idea that Cloud is to weak to save anyone, which is kinda true since he speedblitzes Barret later, gets Cloud to nearly kill Tifa and Aerith, and then tricks cloud into "saving" Aerith in a Ls world but she actually dies in reality.

This is the dumbest of Remake's Sephiroth visions. Most are defensible, but in this one he reveals he's apparently got hacking skills to hijack Shinra's presentation for no good reason. He already lets the group see the future to mess with them later, so this is superfluous.

Never actually played this on PC before but ever since SGF and the Revelation announcement I've been itching to give FF7 Remake another shot. Hope I like it more this time. If nothing else it'll be good to check in with my good friend Aerith Gainsborough again.

@KAD_ProductionZ He personifies the wind but fights like a storm. While others have lightning through artificial means, only sonic can produce it naturally.
Don't get why wind glazers can't understand that, sonic is still all natural, he's just evolving.

@Supernerd471 Sephiroth spoon feeds people this information that there are no timelines/multiverses and it's all the lifestream and some people continue to just ignore that entire scene. Did they forget how the lifestream works? How it made a whole pocket world just for cloud and tifa to talk?

People complaining about FF7R having "timelines" "multiverses" "time travel" "dimensions" or any other 2 dollar internet buzzword to try and hand wave away a concept that has existed since the original game only highlights what a bunch of fake 'fans' you are.

@flo_ezzed @TooliusManicus He wasn't expecting her to show up in EoC, Aerith was supposed to be stuck in the LS world cloud made but Sephiroth underestimated how smart Aerith was, leading to her finding a way to leave briefly and aid cloud. She goes back right after the fight too as cloud leaves the EoC.

@NGreentail Thing is chap 5 feels like it gets side tracked by Kris. When Susie goes to pick flowers for Noelle, they open a fountain purposely obfuscating any progress with the festival, Noelle, and follow up from chapter 4. Why they did it is what we wait to find out in the next chapters.

@WLWReginleiv @NGreentail Noticed it too, when Susie goes in to grab flowers Kris definitely intended to open a fountain to trap her inside and delay her. When Susie came out so quickly they panicked, ran around the back to open a dark fountain, and then forced the player to enter. Super suspicious.

I think it's fair to criticise the lack of much main narrative progression in Chapter 5 and I don't like that everyone arguing that is immediately shut down as people who only care about lore because it's the first time a chapter received some notable pushback
