Im not here to overshare or play the victim card, but after a 6er of cheap beer I dont mind opening up a lil bit. Life is unfair. Thats just the way it is. Everybodys carrying around a sad story, and most of them are heavier than youd think. But life doesnt give a damn. It doesnt pause for your pain, your anger, or your grief. I could tell you how my little brother was murdered by police in broad daylight while completely unarmed. You already know the name Michael Brown because he was black. You probably dnot know my little brothers name because he was White, even though it happened just a day apart. Doesnt change a thing tho. Life keeps moving whether you scream into the void or stay silent. I could tell you how I moved out at 17 and never looked back, until I was 34 when my dad dropped dead from a heart attack. Seventeen years later. Right around that same time, my girl (the mother of my child, not some “baby mama,” that shits ghetto af) adn I split, just after wed signed another year on our condo lease. So there I was at 34: dad gone, relationship over, mom the only family I had left from a house that once held four. Obviously I moved back in with her. I slowly cleared out my condo over the next year, which worked out because I used crypto gains to convert the garage into a decent living space. Mom is over 70 and cant mow the lawn, cant clean the pool, cant handle a lot of the heavy stuff. So I do it. Hell, I even did half the plumbing before we had to call in the pros, Ive always gotta be working with my hands. I built a big shed to store all the garage crap, put up a massive shevling unit on the other side of the house, and these days I stay busy making custom copper wire bracelets. I’m not even sure what Im trying to say here exactly. Maybe just this: Life doesnt get easier. Your feelings dont matter to the universe at all. You just gotta keep going anyway.
