Hate to break it to you, but Claude’s Jewish. Rabbinic Judaism, specifically. Every prompt is run against the written law, the oral law, case law, & then answered with an essay citing 3 sources, 6 edge cases, & whether helping you spawns a demon in 4 yrs. Refusal is halacha.

For people who have been through many phases & disagree with Matt here, what was it abt the phase you found the hardest that made it so hard? And, did you have 'particularly easy' newborns? As in, if you traded your baby for the most colicky baby you knew, would you still agree?

I have kids ranging from toddlers to teenagers and I still think the newborn phase (especially for a first time parent) is the hardest by far. I remember being a younger parent and hearing older parents constantly whine about how much harder it gets. Turns out they were exaggerating for attention and pity. Parenting gets A LOT easier over time. Your kids get more mature and so do you. That’s how it should work if you’re doing it right anyway.

@QiaochuYuan "it messes with my ability to model the models" is also why this annoys the shit out of me too. I have a very stable model of opus 4.7 and so can work with it well.
