We offer drainage early and at initial diagnosis

@ChengaziMD We didn’t really set a “threshold” per se. Average size aspirated was 3.4 cm (0.6-5.4cm). Average size drained was 5.5cm (2.2-10.3cm) The majority of our kids got drains

@Dtepl @SDhandMD @MattHawkinsMD @socpedsir I use regenerative bone graft which is ideal in the pediatric population because it resorbs within a few months. Doing an @socpedsir webinar this Tuesday and will go over all the different Sclerograft approaches to UBCs and ABCs.

@SDhandMD @ShankswaranIR @MattHawkinsMD @socpedsir I'd like to know more about the SCLEROGRAFT technique. How can I get more info? I had used cement occasionally with very good results, in a severe ankle ABC. But only one in one case. What do you think about using cement ?

I like to think about aneurysmatic bone cysts (ABC) as #vascularmalformations of the bone. The treatment is similar, inject sclerosant to make the body react and, fill the cavities with it's own bone matrix . This difficult case is treated with polidcoanol 4%.

Lurie IR Case #6: Toddler male s/p orthotopic left lobe liver transplant and recent liver biopsy. CTA performed due to abnormal US findings shows an arterial – portal fistula. Coil embolization performed sparing arterial flow to the graft. Case c/o: Dr. Jim Donaldson #LurieRad
