Yesterday, His Excellency President @KagutaMuseveni emphasized that this new term (2026–2031) is “Kisanja no more sleep,” a call for hard work, discipline, wealth creation, and national transformation without excuses. As Ugandans, we are invited to deeply reflect on these words, learn from them, and commit to continuous self-improvement while living together in peace and unity. In this new political term, as @UCC_Official, we remain focused on delivering our Vision 2030: An Inclusive Digital Economy - where every Ugandan benefits from affordable, reliable, and innovative ICT services, digital infrastructure, and connectivity. The tasks ahead are to expand digital access, promote innovation, support job creation through technology, and enable socio-economic transformation for all. Together, we can achieve this. #ConnectedUg2030 | #DigitalUganda @UCC_ED @ConsumerUCC @UgCERT @Bbossa

Uganda was electric with excitement. People literally closed their businesses, and those who didn’t own televisions flocked to neighbors’ homes just to follow the ceremony. Everywhere you passed across the country, people were chanting. Today, despite the increase in televisions and smartphones, many Ugandans are simply going about their businesses as if nothing significant is happening. Apart from the crowds transported to Kololo, the national mood is different. There are many explanations for this, but the biggest one is that people are tired, tired of the same stories, the same broken promises, the same corruption, and the same failures in health, education, and infrastructure from the same face, term in term out. Tuli bakoowu!

The handover of authority is not just symbolic. It is a reminder of duty. The Constitution guides the President. The National Flag represents the country he serves. The Public Seal gives authority to act on behalf of the people. The Keys to the House signal the beginning of work. This is where service begins. #M7SwearsIn2026

Never seen a sad ‘President’. What’s wrong? He’s not content with the “71%” he gave himself, wishing he should have made it 99%?

The narrative by @AJEnglish does not fully reflect the reality on the ground in Uganda. The 2026 elections were conducted peacefully across the country, with millions of Ugandans freely participating in the democratic process and expressing confidence in the leadership of H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Claims that opposition leader Bobi Wine was “forced into hiding” are misleading. He was not being pursued by authorities but instead chose to isolate himself politically after failing to secure the nationwide support he had repeatedly claimed during the campaign period. Uganda remained calm and stable throughout the post-election period, with citizens continuing their daily activities peacefully. President Museveni’s victory reflects continued public trust in his leadership, particularly in areas of peace, security, infrastructure development, wealth creation, and economic transformation. Balanced reporting should recognize both the democratic participation of Ugandans and the country’s continued stability and progress. #Musevenomics
