@JustBins Not surprising. This seems to be going around. I’ve heard students talking, administration at schools have threatened to suspend or expel students who share school related incidents with Just Bins. 🙄

An employee tells us the SRG manager, Joan Kotyk, informed security guards they would be fired just for appearing on Just Bins, regardless of fault.

We posted a video in our stories of a security guard calmly stopping a shoplifter in the Cornwall Mall. Astonishingly, SRG Security FIRED the security guard for refusing to let the shoplifter walk.

We have been dealing with teenagers driving electronic dirt bikes in the city, speeding, stunting, and evading police all without licenses. Unfortunately, their neighbors are becoming frustrated, and their parents have been less than cooperative. Well, today, one was located.1/2

@WayneMantykaCTV If you do this, then the classes will need more chrome books and better internet. My student uses cellphone in class to access google classroom because the Chromebooks in some classes don’t stay connected or don’t work at all.

Saskatchewan is considering a ban on cellphone use in classrooms. It follows a decision made by Ontario that takes effect in September.
