The Unavoidable Loophole of a "rational trader": (1) the following SPX Daily roadmap was posted to MPW subs on Apirl 4th, in Scroll 218. (2) I had two options for SPX, Black path is primary wave count & Blue path is alternate. (3) However, in retrospect, I made a mistake here by being too rational. BLUE is the right path. Why? (4) I read a lot of reflections from bulls and bears about the ongoing, insane, irrational melt-up rise. All in all, I believe this is a perfectly fitting "exclamation mark" to an insanely long and over-extended BULL MARKET from March 2009. The giant clock of market God is ticking toward the finish line and yeah, time is finally up, so better be hurry up to meet the deadline. [in this week's newsletter, I will explain why].

3rd of 3rd: (1) with another gap-up over 6900, there is no doubt that the ongoing wave is a large 3rd wave to ATH. (2) Its normal target is 6950, 1.618X W-1. After that, would be a sideway W-4, then to ATH over 7070. (3) out of most PUT positions with loss; wait for next signal

Market Review: (1) the opening gap down was so small and short-lived, which already cast doubt on the ultra-bearish theory. (2) as I noted a few days ago--"if 6800 is broken to the upside, then it would signal a large W-3" to ATH. It looks like that will be the case now. (3) I have updated my primary count in Bamboo Scroll #219, posted to SUBS on April 11th, which already adopted this new roadmap. That was posted before the failed negotiation. (4) short-term, today's run is indeed wild and a bit unexpected--I was stopped out half of my 4/20 675 puts BE; & re-entered again mid-day near 6860 zone. (5) the last hour's squeeze-higher only appears in two spots: either the 3rd of 3rd of a bullish leg, OR an extended 5th wave of W-C. Given tmrw morning's bank earnings & PPI release, I bet it would be the latter, which means the majority of today's gain will be erased. (6) having said that, however, I have to warn bears that any retrace from now on, has a very slim chance to fill the large gap below, meaning, 6720 zone would stop any decline. (7) I believe my SPY 675 puts will be profitable by 4/17, esp. with VIX-Ex on 4/15 & OpEx on 4/17. Anyhow, what a Crash-up over the last two weeks.

I mean, would be crazy if it goes higher. Probabilities favor going down. People think that buying at the top of parabolic rally is safer than shorting it. That's human nature as we are afraid of change/reversal and just want to ride in the road that is already paved.
