@stacy_muur think before signing and approving ,if needed use burner wallets, don't use tg bots wallets as primary wallets, avoid plaintext storing of seed phrase, isolate unused funds to hardware wallet, verify contract with LLM if doubtful, split funds in different chains.

sure there is, if the token is launched with a Uniswap V4 pool, check owner's transaction for a call to setHook or setRouter (the exact name of will be written in the token contract), the hook contract will be in the input data of that tx. Decompile it with dedaub or other decompilers, feed the result to your preferred LLM if the hook is malicious, there will be functions for removing liquidity. the LLM will readily catch that for you just one more contract to check for V4s

This is serious A lot of Ethereum L1 trenchers are going to get rugged Most token checkers and traders rely on the "liquidity burned" check. Welp, Uniswap V4 hooks allow bypassing the LP token entirely to manage the pool. Not a bug, a feature. And in the wrong hands, it's diabolical With one extra step, a malicious dev launches a token through a hook, adds 100% of token into LP, sends the LP token to a dead address, renounces ownership. Looks legit and clean, right? Wrong. Rug pulled hard. How?!?! WETH and token can be withdrawn through the hook. "Burning LP" is a theater in this case I hope chads at @DEXToolsApp @dexscreener and @Token_Sniffer are on top of it, retail relies on you!

Leap Wallet | Sunset on 28th May@leap_wallet

Leap Wallet: Sunset Notice After careful consideration, we've made the decision to sunset Leap Wallet and its associated products. The products will be sunset on 28th May, 2026, and all users should complete their migration before then. We started Leap in 2022 to redefine what wallet experiences in crypto mean. Over time, that journey expanded across multiple ecosystems and 100+ chains. Through every phase, the team approached the work with conviction, care, and a deep sense of responsibility to the users and communities we served. This decision was not made lightly. We continue to believe in the long-term future of crypto and the interchain ecosystem, and we remain supporters of the builders still in the arena. What's being sunset The following products will be sunset after 28th May, 2026: • Leap Wallet (Extension, iOS, Android) • Compass Wallet (Extension, iOS, Android) • Leap WebApp • Swapfast • Leap Cosmos Hub Validator • Leap Cosmos Snaps Until that date, all wallet products listed above will retain their existing core functionality. You will still be able to view balances, send tokens, manage staking positions, and export your recovery phrase and private keys. All other products listed above will likewise retain their existing functionality until 28th May, 2026. What users need to do If you are using one of Leap’s wallet products, we recommend migrating your wallets to another wallet like Keplr, MetaMask, Phantom, or Rabby. Because Leap is a non-custodial wallet, your assets live on the blockchain, not in our apps. As long as you have your recovery phrase, you can continue to access your assets through another compatible wallet by importing that recovery phrase. Your addresses and balances will carry over automatically. If you have ATOM delegated to Leap’s Cosmos Hub validator, please redelegate to another validator to continue earning staking rewards. We encourage doing this as early as possible to account for network unbonding periods. Detailed migration guide and FAQs can be found on the website - leapwallet.io What to expect next After 28th May, 2026, all Leap products will be sunset and will no longer function, including applications already installed in your browser or on your mobile device. Even if you do not migrate from Leap to another wallet before that date, you can still recover access to your assets by importing your recovery phrase into another supported wallet Migration support will be available through our official support channels until 28th May, 2026 at support@leapwallet.io Thank You Thank you to all our users, for letting us serve you through so many market cycles. Thank you to our amazing partners, for helping us build experiences & worlds we never thought possible. Thank you for Leaping with us. 🐸 💚

This is why it is so hard to take a real vacation without checking anything crypto related while you’re gone. You basically never know when things will shut down or stop working. I used Leap for airdrop farming 2,5 years ago. You know: $TIA $ATOM $OSMO ++. I got zero airdrops btw hehe. Anyway, I could have accessed these posisitions after Leap would have shutdown also, but it is frustrating that there is no longevity in crypto. There is constant rotations and you always have to look over your shoulder. Reminiscing back to when I held index funds and just checked them once per month. Simpler days.

The thing about these attacks on dubai is they have an extremely high asymmetry in costs. The cost of the missile is tiny compared to loss in real estate, GDP loss due to tourism tanking... For egypt, extremely cheap (<100k) terror attacks led to 13bn in lost GDP from tourism

@mert Illia is one of the top founders in crypto and an ICPC finalist. Addresses on NEAR were simple as well, using .near names, and the chain itself is extremely fast. However, NEAR never gained the traction it deserved.

NEAR seems to me a top 2-3 underrated team in crypto it's the only technical team as talented as Solana with the results to show for it, v smart devs it is also still founder-led with Illia (the guy who helped invent LLMs) if their GTM gets fixed, no reason why it's not top 10
