BFI is proud to have supported this impactful study by Santhosh K.N., Dr. Shashank Tripathi, and their colleagues at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), in collaboration with Columbia University. This highlights the significance of their work in uncovering the link between SARS-CoV-2 and gut infection. These crucial insights deepen our understanding of viral diseases and help the world prepare for future health challenges. This study is among 60+ research projects funded by BFI across leading institutions such as BITS, IITs, CSIR, and DBT institutes. BFI also supports 50+ innovators through fellowships, kickstarter grants, and startup training via its incubator network, while partnering with 15+ medical colleges to build their research and innovation capacity. At BFI, we remain committed to supporting scientists across leading biomedical institutions who are driving critical discoveries in public health.
