@CoachDBartel This. Important to cultivate leadership opportunities/awareness in others, but also not "force" a different role or path on someone just because they are strong in the classroom. Different skill set. Comparable to people assuming great player=great coach.

There’s a world of difference between managing a classroom of young people & leading adults. So teachers who aspire to be a head coaches or administrators really need to humble themselves, change how they operate, learn, & evolve. If they don’t, they treat everyone like students.
