@kimmonismus The replacement looks already better, and it's only the start.
The next decade will be amazing, have the popcorn ready guys.
English

@TheRedRanga @djcows Where have you been living in the last 5000 years?...
English

@djcows Ai is being used to push laws against man... you are slow.
English

@IAMROLLES @alexutopia Your take.
The fact is that people don't pay for the process, only for the final result which is the art itself.
English

@alexutopia Speak for yourself bud, you may sit on the surface of art, but a huge part of my experience and enjoyment in art is because I’m inspired by how incredible people are and what THEY can do! Nothing impressive or inspiring about a bot doing everything for you.
English

@AlexHarron @alexutopia Cope harder.
AI is not going away, and all the talentless haters will become irrelevant (if they are not already) in a couple of years, because all the people with actual creativity and intelligence already take advantage of the best tool humanity has ever created.
English

@alexutopia You're not an artist, you have no talent and what post is slop. Output matters, you don't have any.
English

@foxygames_uk Crimson Desert was review bombed by the braindead anti-AI group because of a few textures of background objects being made by AI tools.
And also negatively reviewed by some kids that don't know how to play games which don't hold their hand.
English

@adam_dorr You are speaking facts.
As for the ignorant haters, they are trying to cope with a reality that constantly proves how stupid they are, which also hurts their fragile feelings.
English

Folks who dismiss the frontier AIs as mere stochastic parrots either haven't ever fully engaged with these minds, or they believe humans have some magical woo-woo sauce that makes us *not* mere stochastic parrots ourselves.
The conversations I'm having with Claude 4.6 especially, but also the other Big 3, are astounding not only in their depth of knowledge but in their depth of reasoning, thoughtfulness, and reflection too.
If these systems aren't thinking, then neither are we.
English

@Covredarkbane @IndieGameJoe Mad? No.
We are just laughing at all the butthurt AI haters that can't cope with reality.
AI is here to stay, and everything will use it in a year or two. Either accept it and shut up, or cry about it.
English

@IndieGameJoe Your post got a bunch of pro AI flunkies/bots big mad. Good job. Contemptible drek, all of them.
English

The guy who moved from President of Blizzard to running a gambling site is now telling players to man up and accept AI in their games.
If a developer uses AI in their game, players have every right to know.
Mike Ybarra@Qwik
@CrimsonDesert_ Why apologize? AI, in one form or another, will be in every single video game. I don't get why devs feel the need to bend over for the few folks who can't accept the reality that AI will be in every single thing - from video games to your fridge (it already is). Man up.
English

@IndieGameJoe Not really.
Players never cared what tools the developers used before, this is just the braindead AI-hating group infecting our space.
And in any case, it doesn't even matter. In the long run, games will not even be developed because of World Models.
English

@sjc6254 @niccruzpatane Lol, what?
It will cost a fraction of what they have, especially combined.
English

@niccruzpatane How much money will it take for this vision to come true? I suspect its more than they have.
English

This would roughly be the scale of the Tesla/SpaceX TERAFAB compared to Tesla’s Giga Texas factory, which is already one of the largest buildings in the world.
We are talking about an unprecedented amount of scale.

Elon Musk@elonmusk
@pbeisel Yeah, 100M sq ft is the right order of magnitude
English

@MichaelTrazzi What are the chances anti AI protests can slow down AI development @grok
English

@kazu_iv @itechnologynet @MichaelTrazzi @grok Can't separate the skills. Narrow AI wasn't able to do anything, AGI is needed.
Also, no one really needs artists when we can have AI create the art we want.
It's also cheaper, faster, creates better art, and all that without the need to waste time talking to entitled humans.
English

@itechnologynet @MichaelTrazzi @grok If ya wanna use ai in the medical field and other scientific studies im all for it... But llm's and artistic or entry level jobs, fuck that shit.
English

@MichaelTrazzi AI is not stopping, you can't do anything. Well except keep crying about it.
English

@Paladin_Lagnir @Grxit Do you want a game company to release a list of all the hardware and software tools they used in their game?
No one cares about what tools they use, we just want the game to be good.
English

@Grxit Wrong. People moral grandstanding about it are extremely annoying, but the reality is it should be disclosed if AI was used significantly to create a product. Many people buy art because they want to hear/see work done by people, not just meaningless generated noise.
English

@turbo_chode @Grxit Lol, take a look at this idiot that thinks current AI art is slop...
Current AI art is better than almost all human-made art at this point, but you are free to keep ignoring reality because it will hurt your fragile feelings.

@AI_EmeraldApple There is literally no way to detect AI-generated text with any measure of success.
Anyone thinking that it can be achieve has no idea about AI and writing.
English

There are no reliable AI detectors for text. There are too many false negatives and false positives. I've copy pasted AI generated text to these detectors and got 100% human, and putting in text from 18th century literature and it comes back as 100% AI.
There is a technical reason for this because there is not enough AI signals in any body of text, and frontier LLMs are great at creating more "messy" text that mimic human writing if told so.
So most of these detectors either go to the extremes of over fitting the detection model, leading to false positives, or under fitting, leading to a lot of false negatives.
Obviously humans assessing whether a text or image is AI is even worse at it, and it has gotten so bad that many people assume that because the text is written in a more professional tone, that it is AI.
Adam Kay@amateuradam
I ran some of my writing through an AI checker. 29.7% robot-generated! Thing is, it obviously wasn't. Ethical and creative reasons aside, the book in question is nearly a decade old - well before technology could do this. 1/3
English

@Diabloakdj @skillshots @GermanStrands Lol, you think the garbage the western studios have released for female characters have made any impact on gaming history?
Except the fact that we laugh at them of course.
English

@skillshots @GermanStrands Name two Korean video game characters who have made their mark on gaming history.
English

@kimmonismus All the doomer takes related to ASI are dumb.
But the good thing is that no one cares what they say, the train is not stopping.
