@___Javin @JamesDiMichele3 @paleochristcon He appears to be critiquing the defense for the woman. Maybe he doesn’t know you can consent to being slapped. He does not appear to be saying we should change the laws but he is critiquing the defense by using that analogy. What do you think he’s saying? Maybe I’m wrong 🤷‍♂️

On Clavicular getting smacked.... The defense seems to be "She asked if she could slap him and he said yes" so there is no crime. If I ask to shoot you and you say yes and I do is there no crime?

@___Javin @JamesDiMichele3 @paleochristcon Andrew himself is talking about the law. He talks about the defense against a crime. What are you talking about? What the law should be? I don’t think that’s what Andrew was talking about. That’s why his analogy was so bad

@DmWalken @JamesDiMichele3 @paleochristcon He mentions a defense for a crime. You are the one who doesn’t understand the argument mate. Or what do you think he is arguing? It’s honestly a terrible hypothetical from him, he’s usually better at this.

@DmWalken @JamesDiMichele3 @paleochristcon We aren’t just talking about the physical nature, but the consent. You can consent to a slap or even an ass beating (boxing match for instance). You can’t consent to being shot (maybe 200 years ago via duel). It’s a stupid hypothetical you just don’t understand consent

@JamesDiMichele3 @paleochristcon I don’t give a fuck about your appeal to authority. My take has nothing to do with what the government claims is a crime. By your logic a crime is whatever the government says and nothing more.

@Luka77_x @illusion_333 @JoeySalads @paleochristcon Not really. You can give consent for someone to slap you. Hell you can give consent for someone to beat your ass (boxing match for instance). Nowhere in the USA can you give consent to be shot (maybe 200 years ago via a “duel”)

@MAGAMax2024 @paleochristcon Not in an argument it isn’t. Obviously the argument is about whether or not it should be illegal, otherwise anyone can just look up the law.

Vandy and Nebraska really turned this into a pure shot-making clinic on national TV, exactly what you want from a 4–5 second-round matchup with a Sweet 16 ticket on the line. Nebraska came in as the 4-seed out of the Big Ten with a 27–6 record and that physical, disciplined defense, while Vanderbilt rolled in as a 5-seed at 27–8 behind Tyler Tanner’s downhill scoring and late-game shot creation.

@ShnarfShnarf727 @Just_Hoodie @JamesDiMichele3 @paleochristcon @grok It’s also completely ignoring the fact that the law may deem any form of unwanted sexual contact—an ass slap would certainly qualify—as an offence if the victim feels they’ve been violated, esp. where women are concerned. It’s asinine to believe otherwise if charges were made.

@grok just to clarify in this guy’s retard hypothetical, couldn’t the wife, technically press, assault charges, and un give consent, especially if she felt like it was hard or he meant it? And she could obviously just lie and say these things so his hypothetical was invalid correct me if I’m wrong.
