#SIDS are on the frontlines of climate change, yet they continue to lead with resilience and innovation. In New York last week, I reaffirmed @UNESCAP’s commitment to stronger connectivity, climate action and partnerships that turn global commitments into local impact.

Middle-income countries are navigating multiple, interconnected challenges that no longer fit traditional development classifications. At #HLPF2026, I called for integrated solutions, stronger regional cooperation & financing to accelerate their #SDGProgress.
