I don’t think an actual breakup is feasible for the Nuggets unless Jokic forces it which he probably won’t. My question is will they pay the huge tax bill to keep the team together and give themselves a chance if things break right, and the obvious fear is that they won’t.

@CTFazio24 It's hard to be optimistic about a roster overhaul. It isn't a desirable NBA city, they don't have much equity to deal with, and worst of all, Josh hilariously thinks of himself as a real business man

Depends on Jokić's extension decision, but generally believe that there needs to be an overall shift in philosophy of what skillsets to add around him. The two man game needs to be scaled back, while adding + athletes and players that stand out rather than fit in the system

@C2_Cooper I agree with the sentiment in general on this but it's also kinda funny that the guy funded by NBC/Universal and multibillion dollar gambling companies gets scrappy lil guy cred because he has a better social media game than the legacy media guy

Just want to put it out there, that there are a lot of established media members who are supportive of independent bloggers — both publicly and privately.

The NIL era is flipping the NBA Draft on its head. Only 71 players entered the 2026 NBA Draft, per the NBA. Down from 106 last year and a peak of 363 in 2021. That's the lowest early-entrant total since 2003. College basketball stars are staying in school, overwhelmingly.

Just finishing SAS-POR. Big issue for Portland is that Donovan Clingan has kind of been what people think of Rudy Gobert in the playoffs in this series. The offensive tradeoffs you give the other team by having him out there so far haven't been worth his defensive impact.

Powerful, simple message today at church today as we learned Psalms Chapter 23: The Lord is the shepherd, all of us are His sheep. It's echoing in my mind, it's such a beautiful, timeless message to everyone across the world, especially because in my time on the internet, I've always heard "sheep" used as a derogatory term, an insult, but the way this psalm presented it was...profound. The gist: No matter how many times we wander astray, no matter how many muddy ditches we fall into, Jesus will come looking for us, find us, and place our muddy, scarred bodies atop his shoulders and carry us to the right path, to home. With faith, that's comforting in life's valleys, peaks, and the journey's between. Reading scripture and really contemplating on it has brought so much self-reflection, learnings, and joy to the life of me and my family. If you haven't, give it a try! It's fascinating.
