@CcibChris With all the cars in the picture. I'm guessing this must have been taken during one of the annual Airshows. I have to say, I do miss the RAF being based there. As well as the 22Sqn SAR helicopters.

RAF Chivenor back in the 60’s. Count the aircraft if you can. I did my Hunter course here in 1969.

@EmsTheKat @orhunt The upstairs section has all the menswear, homewares, cafe and toilets. As well as the lingerie. It's pretty crammed up there. Women's clothing downstairs, easily has three times the floorspace. That's excluding the food hall too.

@Shortdvn1 @orhunt I assume the reason is they got enough regular clothes to fill a whole floor, while lingerie and suits don't take as much space. Rent is very expensive so they need to make the best use of the floor space.

@MichaelTakeMP I can remember a couple of my great aunts still dressing like that, at weddings in the late 70's/early 80's.

Why don’t the young people of today dress like this? If they did they’d get a job and be able to afford a house.👍

These morons actually think airlines are going to divert all international flights from NYC, NJ, CHI, LA, SF, DEN, PHI, SEA and other cities to red states because of Markwayne’s edict. Stunningly stupid.

@but_cyclists Hmm let me think. How about cycling the wrong way down a one way, single cars width road. Like the muppet I faced this morning?

What specifically is it that cyclists do that makes people say "they think they own the road" ?

@Neuro_Matt Toilets for the disabled have always been unisex. So this really shouldn't be an issue. Unless you're just out for the clicks!

Most clothing stores I’ve been to in the last 39 years have had unisex cubicles for changing rooms. Why are we pretending this is in any way new, or illegal? It’s not.

This is big joke to Trump and his cult, I understand. In Europe, this was the last straw. What made them realize that our president is out of his mind and has zero adult supervision. And that American voters are morons who cannot be trusted.

@RebeccaCait04 Sadly a lot of pharmacists don't tell you about this. I was paying about £40 for six months. Till a replacement pharmacist suggested the certificate. Now I buy it annually and keep a copy on my phone

@Yoda4ever The local crows and rooks have gotten into the habit of dropping walnuts on my roof. You can hear them bouncing down the tiles. They will often smash once they hit the ground. If they don't, they'll get picked up and dropped again till they do open.

The Westland Sea King HAR3 entered RAF service in 1978 as a dedicated Search & Rescue hero, replacing the Whirlwind. Built under licence from the Sikorsky SH-3, powered by Rolls-Royce Gnome engines, it could fly in any weather, day or night, with extended range and a spacious cabin for stretchers.

As President Trump’s latest wave of major historic renovations to the White House continue, the Wall Street Journal reports that the president has recently discussed plans to install a helipad on the grounds of the White House. According to officials, the helipad is needed in order to prevent the VH-92A Patriot, the powerful new presidential helicopter produced by Lockheed Martin that is meant to replace the aging fleet of VH-3D Sea Kings currently used as Marine One, from causing serious damage to the grass on the White House’s South Lawn.
