LLMs can help us build an educational system that gives every child the optimal challenge that they're ready for in that moment, and then ramp up just enough so that the next challenge is both engaging and maximally educational.
Imagine how much more effective an educational system like that is, and the stratospheric competence delta a child that comes out of that system will have. What is that multiple? is it 5X? is it 10X?
The system can identify the perfect sweet spot between what they're naturally good at and they can be pushed on to maximize their capabilities. Imagine the potential of such an educational system and it's all within reach right now. It could be available to every child, or adult, rich or poor.
Imagine the lost geniuses we don't have to lose. Imagine the frustrated intelligences that put their mind to adversarial zero-sum use, because nothing better is available.
All of that has suddenly opened up.
