शौर्य, त्याग आणि सेवाभाव हिच पोलीसांची खरी ओळख” पालकमंत्री ॲड. माणिकराव कोकाटे शहीद पोलीस बांधवांच्या स्मृतींना स्मारकातून नवी ओळख “निःस्वार्थ भावनेने समाजाच्या सुरक्षेसाठी आपले प्राण अर्पण करणाऱ्या पोलीस बांधवांचे शौर्य, त्याग आणि सेवा भाव हेच त्यांच्या कर्तृत्वाची खरी ओळख आहे. त्यांचा त्याग व्यर्थ जाऊ नये, त्यांच्या कार्याची स्मृती जिवंत ठेवण्यासाठी हे स्मारक उभारले आहे,” असे प्रतिपादन राज्याचे क्रीडा, युवक कल्याण, अल्पसंख्याक व औकाफ मंत्री तसेच जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री ॲड. माणिकराव कोकाटे यांनी केले. नंदुरबार येथे उभारण्यात आलेल्या पोलीस शहीद स्मारकाचे अनावरण त्यांच्या हस्ते संपन्न झाले. या प्रसंगी आमदार चंद्रकांत रघुवंशी, आमदार राजेश पाडवी, आमदार आमशा पाडवी जिल्हा पोलीस अधिक्षक श्रवण दत्त एस.अप्पर जिल्हाधिकारी धनंजय गोगटे, डॉ. अभिजित मोरे, प्रतिभा शिंदे अन्य अधिकारी व नागरिक उपस्थित होते.
