Nine out of ten drugs fail in clinical trials because we can’t predict how a patient will respond. We backtested our foundation model of patient biology on multiple clinical trials in Cancer and Autoimmune diseases and successfully separated responders vs non-responders 70-90% of the time.

Today, we are formally announcing @mirendil. Mirendil exists to be a straight shot at solving bottlenecks to step-change acceleration across all areas of science and technology. If you are excited about this mission, feel free to reach out.
Behnam Neyshabur@bneyshabur

Today, I’m excited to formally announce @mirendil with my amazing co-founders Harsh Mehta, Shayan Salehian, and Tara Rezaei! We’re fortunate to work with @a16z and @kleinerperkins, who led our seed round of $200M, followed by a major investment from NVIDIA, among others. Mirendil exists to accelerate science and technology, and through them, to help solve humanity's most pressing problems. Self-accelerating AI R&D is the most direct path to delivering on AI's broader promise, which is why we believe the most important application of AI is AI itself. Get this loop right, and it compounds. It fundamentally changes the rate of progress itself across all domains. We believe this capability should be democratized. It should be used to power all scientific efforts trying to innovate at the frontier. There are far more important problems—and broader ones—than any single lab can take on, so more groups should be able to pursue them. This pulls concentration of power away from a few labs: businesses and science labs can own their AI and infrastructure, keep their margins, and control their own destiny instead of ceding it all to a single AI lab. We’re a small team with a singular focus. Our founding team consists of 20 researchers and engineers from frontier institutions including Anthropic, xAI, Google DeepMind, and OpenAI, united by a passion for science and a drive to build the technologies that move it faster. If you want to build the system that builds systems, join us! @HarshMeh1a, @shayan_, @tararezaeikh

Today we’re launching the newest version of @paradigmai When we started Paradigm, the goal was never to tack AI onto existing spreadsheets. It was to build a new type of interface that does the work for you. Now we’re pushing that vision much further. Workflows turn Paradigm into a system that runs research processes for you. Connect your CRM, existing spreadsheets, Slack, email, and internal data, and let Paradigm continuously run the research workflows your team already does. Same intuitive interface. But now a system of action. If you tried Paradigm before, try it again. Manual research is now a competitive liability.

My cofounder @AnnaJuliaStorch and I grew up in manufacturing towns while spending our days chasing speed - on the mountains and the racetrack. With @DryftHQ , we bring our love for both worlds to life. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to finally come out of stealth and announce our $5M round led by @GeneralCatalyst, with participation from @Neo, @SherylSandberg ’s Fund, @JeffAWilke, @CHughesJohnson, Dr. Markus Flik, @Qasar and many other incredible Angels. Introducing Axis: the first AI model that generates regulatory DNA elements and predicts their function. Gene therapies suffer from poor efficacy, toxicity & specificity. Models like Axis can help overcome such risks. Axis beats Google DeepMind's AlphaGenome at predicting regulatory element binding activity by 6.7%.
