@dawisu With this, the best is to have it in January 2027 with the hope that another religious body (Jew, Buddhist, traditionalist etc) wouldn’t claim January since February and March is to be observed by Muslim & Christians. So help us God.

Electoral Act window for 2027 elections runs from Dec 30, 2026 to April 29, 2027! Ramadan is expected early February to early March 2027. Elections can hold anytime in Jan or March within the legal window, so yes, there is room outside Ramadan for INEC to hold elections!

@Shunanom If it is due technical, would you say it is not "cogent enough" because other airlines operated?

Guys, if your luggage is above the weight limit allowed by the airline per passenger, you will pay for the excess luggage. Stop making calls to the NCAA over this. The NCAA cannot force any airline to carry you/your luggage for free. You either ensure to pack the allowable kilograms or pay up.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU DIRECTS MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE IMPLEMENTATION ACROSS MDAs President Bola Tinubu has directed the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) to issue a service-wide circular to all Ministries, Extra-Ministerial Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) on the implementation of mandatory health insurance in line with the National Health Insurance Act, 2022. However, President Tinubu called for further, closer and constructive engagement with the Private Sector on the Act to ensure that businesses are not unduly constrained. The President's directive covers five key areas. First, all MDAs must enrol their employees in the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) health insurance plan. Where desired, MDAs may take up supplementary private insurance coverage in accordance with the NHIA Act. All entities participating in public procurement must present a valid NHIA-issued Health Insurance Certificate as part of their eligibility documentation. This certificate confirms compliance with the mandatory health insurance requirement and serves as a condition precedent for continuing any procurement-related engagement. The Presidential directive also compels all MDAs to require applicants to present valid NHIA Health Insurance Certificates as a precondition for issuing and renewing licenses, permits, and other official approvals. According to the directive, the NHIA will establish a digital platform to enable easy verification of Health Insurance Certificates, ensuring transparency and accessibility. Finally, the directive compels all MDAs to work with the NHIA to develop internal procedures to verify the authenticity of the submitted Health Insurance Certificates and ensure consistent compliance monitoring. The presidential directive aims to expand health coverage, safeguard workers, reduce out-of-pocket health expenditures and promote accountability in public and private sector engagements. The NHIA Act, 2022, stipulates compulsory health insurance for Nigerians and mandates NHIA to ensure health coverage for all persons in Nigeria and undertake necessary measures to achieve its objectives. Three years after the Act was enacted, national health insurance coverage remains alarmingly low despite recent progress in the health sector. Coconut oil's health claims are mixed. It may boost immunity via antimicrobial properties and aid weight loss in specific diets, but evidence for heart health and digestion benefits is weak. Research shows it raises LDL cholesterol, potentially increasing heart disease risk, contrary to claims. Moderation (max 2 tbsp daily) is key due to high saturated fat.

Yesterday my grandmother, Grace Olusola, died, 4 months to her 99th birthday. She died at the same age her mother died, in 2004, also four months to 99. Today, March 3, her husband, my grandfather, would’ve been 104. Also today, I’m a year older. Many stories to tell about her, including that she’s my first and strongest claim to Lagosianship. She lived 86 of those 98+ years in Lagos—between Lagos Island, Ebute Metta and Ogba—from the moment she entered Queen’s College in 1938. Gave birth to all her children in Lagos. And will definitely be buried in Lagos—as part of not leaving this bit to chance, she bought her Lagos burial plot a long, long time ago. There’s an unfinished poem I’ve been writing about her for two years now, featuring her and Queen Elizabeth. Born two months apart in 1926, linked by the Church of England, but fated to very different lives...

@realYusufTukur @mabziz He congratulated the late Gen. Lagbaja when appointed Chief of Army and failed to do same for his fellow statesman. This and many more actions of his, can make one to insinuate.

This one CLEARLY doesn’t know of existence of a certain General Martin Luther Agwai, who was also CDS, & identifies more with Kaduna than Gen Chris Musa (who adopted Sokoto). This above is what enabled thought of the very foolish phrase “NW hates giving their slots to 'keferi'”.
Montero - Olu Lewis@Montero1016

Asiwaju's first offense to El Rufai was appointing a Christian from Kaduna South as Chief of Defense Staff. He dares not say it for his career's sake but did u see him congratulate the CODS? A man from his state! The NW hates giving their slots to 'keferi' as they call them. 😃

Allah, by his grace, spared my life to this exceptional day, making it my 60th year from birth, even much earlier on the Hijri calendar. I am profoundly grateful to my country for giving me the opportunity to grow from an Almajiri (Tsangaya) school pupil to become the CEO of Africa’s largest energy company. Even more particular, I deeply appreciate the exceptional privilege given to me by Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Ahmed Tinubu to serve as the last GMD of the NNPC and the pioneer CEO of the NNPC Ltd. Reflecting backwards alone can’t account for the profoundly eventful life I spent to this date, walking through good and bad times, travails and triumphs, pains and happiness, fails and successes and many more that only the sufficiency of Allah will explain. At this milestone, I feel the obligation to serve with even greater conviction and with elevated expectation of eternal recompense so deeply pleasing. I am hugely indebted to my family for being nearly absent for most of my later years serving our nation and the common good. My deep appreciation to my family, friends and associates, my colleagues at work and my teachers (western and of Almajiri extractions), and many unmentioned people who account for many of my accomplishments, unconditional support and my overall wellbeing. This is a turning point, and I seek forgiveness from anyone I might have hurt unintentionally or unavoidably.
