Thanks for considering one of my leaders for executive role (Pamela Nyiraguhirwa). She almost deputised you by your choice until common factor stopped it. She was hated for being calm, that is good. What you did is called institutional memory transfer. I also picked Hon. Ida Mugenga from previous leadership. While I retired from local politics through parliament contest, I held dear the seat that people of Kisoro had entrusted me with love and faith for 10 consecutive years. We navigated against tides of Covid 19, crossboarder disruptions due to simultaneous 2-boarder closures, perenial natual disasters and overwhelming influx of refugees. I personally went into continuous heartache of balancing power bases from religion, class, my own nemesis lot and cultural rungs of social power ladder. Remember SDAC which I belong to is a minority. We together prevented local imperialism from raping the will of the people. Your coming assures Bafumbira of continous stability but be sure that as they fought Jesus and me, they won't spare you too. They will come in various shades including threats, blackmail and sabotage. But cherish those who come up with positive and negative critisism. They not only will keep you on your toes but may open the curtein of the dark segment of your JoHari window. Be ware of your own choice of leaders to support you on boards and commissions; they will come with desired strengths Kisoro needs but also with their own weaknesses, sins and haters. You will be responsible for their behavior. I know you will handle by grace of God. Kisoro is our home. Its imperative and incumbent on us all to build it, promote it for now and for posterity. Uganda is my national home but my cherished identity is African. My everlasting anticipated home is heaven where only one leader - God and His son, will rule us forever Amen. For God and my country.

We have witnessed the obscene accumulation of wealth - cars, mansions, designer clothes, lavish parties, and the brazen use of money to buy political power. financed through Parliament’s own budget, with the active complicity of many MPs. Parliaments are meant to guard the public purse and to hold governments accountable. Ours has become a den of thieves, no longer a House of the People.
