🚨 RESCUE REQUEST IN 📍MUMBAI (Deonar Slaughterhouse – Gate No. 4) 🐾
There are many 🐶 1-1.5-month-old puppies inside the Deonar Slaughterhouse (Gate No. 4).
With 🕌 Bakrid approaching, the area will soon be ⚠️ overcrowded, and these puppies may not survive the chaos.
⏳ We have less than ONE WEEK to rescue them.
If anyone can help rescue them, even 🏡 temporarily until the situation settle. Please come forward 🙏
PS: 💔 I truly wish this slaughterhouse would be shut down forever. I hate feeling helpless when it comes to animals. I’m choosing to prioritize this situation because losing this battle against dog haters would make things even more hopeless for other animals who have been served as food for this long time!

@mohansson @sabeer @_amitbehere Curious to know why you equate gig work to slavery when its COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY and people actually opt for it as it affords them a better lifestyle than their otherwise sorry backgrounds ever could. Then we cry about lack of dignity of labor.
English

@sabeer @_amitbehere “Indian innovation”
Just squeezing the poor into modern day slavery. Every single time.
English

I was at a conference and an Indian uncle came up to me proudly extolling 10-minute delivery as an example of Indian innovation. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that delivering shampoo and chips faster is logistics optimization — not innovation. Innovation is creating things the world has never seen before.
English

@ThetaVegaCap And thank God for that, else how will our bank stocks rise?

India is becoming an EMI economy.
☠️60% of premium smartphones are bought on EMI
☠️Avg bike loan: ₹90,000
☠️Avg car loan: ₹8.4 lakh
☠️Avg home loan: ₹33 lakh
☠️27% Indians even took holiday loans
The problem isn’t EMI.
The problem starts when
EMIs grow faster than assets.
Net worth matters more than lifestyle.

@surbhiskjain @shobhitic By that logic, not one of that demographic would be inclined to stand for the national anthem before the movie their.

Last night I paid ₹1350 for a movie ticket at PVR Directors Cut (a 40-seat, experience-first theater where even the samosa costs more than a standard multiplex ticket)
The room was exactly who you'd expect:
urban professionals,
dual-income households,
people who consciously choose comfort over convenience.
Then the ads started.
A government rozgar/subsidy campaign.
A gold loan brand.
A mass apparel retailer.
I don't say this to mock those brands - they're solving real problems for real people. But they were speaking to an audience that wasn't in the room.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.
A premium cinema screen isn't just a location. It's a filter. The moment someone buys that ticket, they've already told you something about themselves:
→ I value experiences over transactions
→ I'm willing to pay for quality
→ Comfort and status matter to me
That single behavioral signal is worth more than most demographic overlays.
The same screen could be doing real work for premium credit cards, luxury travel brands, wellness companies, private healthcare, or high-end real estate. Not because those brands are "premium," but because the environment already pre-filters consumers for them.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟.
If your media plan doesn't ask "what does this space say about the person sitting in it?" - you're buying eyeballs, not attention.

@dmuthuk What is being reported would be a fraction of his real networth
English

Saw many finfluencers asking as to why Vijay is keeping a significant portion of his Rs.624 crores networth in Savings Bank Account and Fixed Deposits. It goes without saying our finfluencers are recommending equity for him.
This networth puts Vijay in 0.001% of country's population. That is roughly in top 15,000 to 20,000 households among 320 million households in the country.
So far, he has been earning hundred plus crore as yearly income too. It is a disease that we think everyone needs equity, mutual funds and SIPs.
When you are cream of wealthy, returns doesn't matter. I know many rich people who keep money only in banks with zero exposure to equity.
These people have created a size of wealth which only handful of people are capable of creating even through equity.
English

@rahul7280 @_amitbehere Let the government exempt me from income tax. I promise to pump up consumption as well, leading to job creation.
English

@_amitbehere because IPL generates a lot of taxes through salaries, GST on ticket sales, merch, expensive food/drinks etc etc etc
Not to mention IPL generates bulk employment over 3 months (prep and main event)
kabhi apni education ko bhi respect kar liya karo!!
English

Still have no clue how a small store owner or a young adult making 12 lakhs a year is taxed but IPL isn't.

🚨40% tax on IPL profits could have generated ₹15,000 crore in 3 years, enough to fund 10 new IITs - IISc Professor Mayank Shrivastava. follow @india_plus_

Location: Bhadravathi river, Karnataka.
Absolutely pathetic to see 'intelligent' humans harassing wildlife for social media clout. Flying drones in the Bhadra Sanctuary backwaters have terrified these swimming elephants, driving them toward villages and fueling human animal conflict.
It is infuriating how a total lack of civic sense and pure arrogance leads people to value a 'perfect shot' over the safety of animals and local communities.
These idiot humans are so blinded by the need for a viral video that they completely ignore the ethical and legal consequences of their actions.
This reckless interference doesnt just stress the animals; it directly endangers local communities by pushing terrified elephants toward human settlements. Its the height of foolishness to value a few likes on social media over the safety of both wildlife and fellow citizens.
Stop the idiocy and respect their space!

Heartbreaking to see this beautiful 2 year old female leopard behind bars after she was captured in Mukhai, Maharashtra. We continue to squeeze wildlife out of their homes, then label their presence a SCARE.
She is now at Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre. We need to ask: what is the long term plan for her?
Coexistence, not just cages!

We Indians are not morally and gentically corrupt but laziest in the world. An average men/women in India is ugly potbellied caused by excessive rice and laziness. We hardly use foot-overbridge, and try to cross road, railway track. We are programmed to take shortcuts.
Deadly Kalesh@Deadlykalesh
📍Bakhtiyarpur Railway Station, Bihar: Two women lost their lives after being hit by the Farakka Express while attempting to cross the railway tracks instead of using the foot overbridge. CCTV footage shows a man assisting them across; he escaped, but both women were caught in the path of the high-speed train.

But why punish a Donkey? Why should an innocent animal be forced to carry the weight of human ego, public shaming, and regressive mindsets?

Net worth = 624 crore.
220 crore earning 2.25% taxable interest income
many will be shocked how an 1/3rd of networth earn just 2.25%
But here is what most of us will miss.
👉 Vijay didn’t chase “maximum returns” early on
While many optimize for:
🔹Asset Allocation
🔹Best mutual fund scheme
🔹Multibagger stock ideas
🔹Filing the IPO Applications
👉 He chased craft, influence, and mass connection & wealth becomes the byproduct.
A powerful reminder for all of us:
💡Your biggest compounding engine isn’t your investments.
💡It’s your career, credibility, and craft.
Get that right and the rest will eventually follow.

English

@Sandeep_Majj Interesting insights. Do we have any parallel to this situation in the past, to understand where the overall market/returns could potentially go in 6 to 12 months after such a scenario where the broader markets outperform the index?
English

Like I have mentioned before the pain is in the large caps (Nifty) which is kind of stuck and not moving much since few weeks now as FIIs continue to sell more than they buy -
While the small and mid caps continue to do well and stock specific action is quite strong in the broader market.
Stop looking at the nifty and focus on stock picking 👍🏻

@Ishan_Narayan_ @BaluGorade Both are great funds but the global equity exposure in DSP makes it quiet unique in this category, in my opinion.
English

@BaluGorade Wow babbar sher !!!
Compare it with ICICI Multi Asset
English

DSP Multi Asset Fund -
> launched in 2023, managing ₹8,400 Cr in AUM
> Maintains a low portfolio turnover of 5%, indicating a long term approach
> Invested across 54 stocks with a diversified equity basket
> Portfolio valuation is around 18x P/E, indicating balanced valuations
> 50% allocated to equity, including 12% global exposure
> 14% invested in gold as a hedge against uncertainty
> 8% allocated to silver for additional commodity exposure
> 5% exposure to REITs for real estate income diversification
> 23% allocated to debt and cash as part of the multi asset strategy
> 2.82 lakh investors are part of the fund
All major asset classes in one fund. Among the better performers since launch.
Anyone here tracking this fund?

This calf spends her life waiting in vain for a taste of her mother’s milk.
Outside my office in Sector 62, Gurgaon, India — employees sip milk tea and toss the cups — the calf licks the leftover drops from thousands of cups.
This has become a daily routine. Well-educated professionals from global companies, including one of the big four accounting and consulting firms, stand there sipping tea while watching this calf struggle for mothers milk.
What I fail to understand is why educated men and women choose to turn a blind eye to this exploitation of dairy animals.
I hope you reflect on this and choose not to be part of it.
A small step could be shifting toward plant-based alternatives.
If you find it difficult, try to make gradual changes to end exploitation of cows and buffaloes.
