#BREAKING: The Ministry of Education has withdrawn its earlier order that changed the constitution and composition of the Senate and Syndicate of Panjab University. The move follows extensive feedback from students, teachers, former & current VCs, and student bodies, who raised concerns after the order was issued. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀ,ਪ੍ਰੋਫ਼ੈਸਰ,ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਲੀਡਰ ਜੇ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਤੱਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਤ ਰਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ #PanjabUniversity "ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ" ਐਲਾਨੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਕੋਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਕ ਮੰਗਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ,ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਾ।

ਫਾਇਨਲੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ.. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੀ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਸੈਨੇਟ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਭੰਗ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ। ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ, ਜਲਦੀ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਵੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਭਾਵ, ਹੁਣ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਡੈਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਂਜ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਬੱਸ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਹੈ। ਬਾਕੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਭ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਚਲੋ, ਰੋਜ਼-ਰੋਜ਼ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਟ-ਸਿਆਪਾ ਨਿਬੜਿਆ। ਕਰਨੀ ਵੀ ਕੀ ਸੀ! ਨਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਦੇਣ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਸੇ, ਨਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਦੀ ਅਕਲ। ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਸੀ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ, ਤਵੇ ਤੇ ਚੁਟਕਲੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਦੇ। ਭਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਚਰਖਾ ਟੁੱਟਾ, ਜਿੰਦ ਅਜਾਬੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ। ਪਰ ਸੋਚਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਕੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ 'ਤੋਹਫਾ' ਜਾਣ-ਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ-ਦਿਹਾੜੇ 'ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ! ਪਾਲੀ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ P. ਅੱਜ 1158 ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ( Sexual Assault ) ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਇਹ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਤੇ ਅਪਮਾਨਜਨਕ ਹਰਕਤ ਹੈ I I request Madam @rajlali to kindly take immediate notice of this unacceptable behaviour of the police personnel.

After our #1158Recruitment was quashed by the Supreme Court, we came here at CM RESIDENCE Sangrur on July 18 That day, we were promised that all legal remedies — modification, review petition, curative — would be pursued. But even after 2 months of filing the modification, no review petition was filed (which should’ve been done within a month). ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 1158 ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੇਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਔਖੇ ਤੋਂ ਔਖਾ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ। ਓਹ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ, ਏਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਬੇਰੁਖੀ ਤੋਂ ਤੰਗ ਆ ਕੇ ਆਤਮ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਚੁਣਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਕੱਲ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫੇਰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਰਚ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੈਰ-ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
