How do I come up with ideas for launching apps? I don’t use any special niche analysis tools. But I have a few ways to decide what to build. First: my own problems. This is the best path. If I’ve faced a problem myself, it likely means at least a few thousand people around the world have it too. This also includes requests from my wife, family (including kids) and friends. Next: niches I’m personally interested in. For example, I have a video rendering technology. With this framework, I can quickly launch apps for creating collages, reels, stories, boomerangs, etc. There used to be a third approach, chasing hype trends. But it faded away. The first two approaches work much better when combined with experience and strong intuition.
