@googlevoice is utter tripe. Why does absolutely everything need a number assigned before you can do anything with it, whether you want to receive direct calls on it or not. The fact number assignments take >48 hours makes setting it up glacial.

I'm having a couple of issues with the “Devices”tab tonight, @OctopusEnergy 📱 My car isn’t appearing on the list, and when it intermittently does, it isn’t showing the charge end time or percentage. When you click into it, it gives an error message 🤷🏻‍♂️

@sarah_go_green @OctopusEnergy I'd love to play but I seem to be penalised for not using my EV every single day and end up losing a streak. It's all a bit gimmicky where Greener Nights could easily have been amended to reward for plugging in and not needing to charge by a specific time.

What's the point in a @prioritypasscom subscription when you go to use it and told the lounge is fully booked? Useless.

I'm near Newquay for a BBQ in honour of one of our Eleven Energy sodium battery installations, a little early so taking a charge at a nearby charger. 8 150kW DC chargers in the middle of nowhere! Charging in Cornwall has certainly come a long way lately.

Young climate alarmists sure did miss a lot of cool doomsday threats in the past. The Ozone Hole Scare, for instance. Just like today's "Climate Crisis" crowd, ozone hole experts conditioned the public to panic about this for years. Then it suddenly decreased in size without anyone knowing why. Today it’s the smallest it has ever been since its discovery.

This is the new @OctopusEnergy Charge Cap in action ⚡️ As it runs midday to midday, I’ve been given 30 mins of “yesterdays” allowance. I’ve then got my 6 hour allowance for today, which is giving me 5 hours off-peak until 17:00. And another hour overnight 🕰️ I also got a notification telling me what percentage the car will be at after the 6 hours👌🏼

@LenovoSupport Not needed, it's definitely an app that comes on the tablet, the package is "com.aura.oobe.lenovo" so clearly shows your relationship with a company who pays OEMs to preinstall their bloataware peddling app. Taking revenue at the expense of your customer exerience is diabolocal.

Absolutely disgraceful from @Lenovo, not only does their junk come preinstalled with dozens of bloatware apps, but they actually make you go through the process of un-ticking dozens of apps EVERY MONTH to stop them being automatically installed.

@OctopusEnergy this is a welcome change, as Greener Nights always conflicted with the message from Pete & Phil. What's needed though is an option to set "No Specific Time" in the options, that way you can trade me on the CM Flex market over multiple days as needed.

Octopus Agile rates staggeringly high tonight. Nearly 4x the Price Cap at peak. Agile is the elec tariff which moves with wholesale rates half hourly. Sometimes it actually pays you to use energy (perfect for EV users) - tonight's the opposite. My guess is it's due to 1. High use due to air-con & people staying in doors 2. Heat means limited wind generation 3. Solar power generation drops at just the wrong time, once we get into peak All this likely means the marginal cost of energy gets very expensive and Agile tracks that. PS energy price cap for elec is about 25p/kWh currently so as you can see for much of the day this is cheaper but at peak wow! PPS To be very clear this is ONLY Octopus Agile. The tariffs most people are on are flat rate regardless of time of day or demand.

I’m not an EV hater, but the problem with EV’s that no one talks about is: When the range gets to 0 in an EV the car just stops. In some cases they can’t even be pushed… When the range gets to 0 in a Petrol or Diesel car, you have a built in grace period of 30-40 miles that isn’t shown on the car’s trip computer. Thus range anxiety doesn’t exist in an ICE vehicle. Why don’t EV’s do that?
