My biggest anxiety’s about living in the US as a trans person in 2026: -Being Hate Crimed. -Dying to a hate crime -Put into ice detention camp for being TRANS (I have papers.) -Hospitalized after an attack -Anti-Trans Legislation in CA Trans rights are human rights.

In this situation, you should leave the system as-is, document the risk, and escalate the issue, rather than attempting an unauthorized fix. While the vulnerability is critical, performing a "rogue" patch on a legacy system often carries a higher immediate risk to the business than the flaw itself; these systems are notoriously brittle, and an unexpected crash could lead to catastrophic data loss or operational downtime that you would be personally responsible for. The professional approach is to provide the business with a clear Risk Acceptance framework. You must detail the potential impact of an exploit, propose compensatory controls, such as isolating the system behind a more robust firewall, and ensure leadership signs off on the decision to remain vulnerable. This shifts the decision from a technical gamble to a calculated business risk, ensuring that if a breach occurs, there is a documented trail showing you provided the necessary warnings
Cyber_Racheal@CyberRacheal

You find a critical vulnerability in a legacy system that the business refuses to take offline. Do you fix it anyway and risk a crash, or leave it and document the risk?🤔

Raising the age to 21… but still expect those same adults to vote, pay taxes, and serve. Funny how rights shrink when it’s the Second Amendment.

I found it interesting how many people were mad at me over this tweet. Especially the idiots going, "Well, you gave your ID to X/Twitter." Yes, that was by MY CHOICE, and due to tax reasons. Reddit doesn’t want to give you a choice, and it’s a site with a track record of not being the most trustworthy! I would not trust a site that’s overrun by admins who power-trip all the time and would probably try to dox me just for saying I like anime titties..... Yeah, I’ll pass.
Espiritu@OtakuEspiritu

I don't care which political side you're on, if you give them your ID, you're an idiot. You'll 100% be doxxed by them. Just a reminder of how badly the admins power-trip on that site. You only need to look at the anime community to see how fucked the communities are on there.

Nuclear material is extremely heavy. I doubt very seriously a person, even Hafþór Björnsson would have a hard time carrying an amount that could do what JD is saying here. No one can break the laws of physics, terrorist or not. The “Little Boy” bomb that we dropped on Hiroshima weighed 9,700lbs. That killed “tens of thousands of people” like Vance is trying to scare people about here. Uranium decays into lead and lead is too heavy for human to carry in large amounts. Also we can detect nuclear material from space pretty easily, there are systems (that I forget the name of currently) that can scan and find hidden nuclear sites underground. They’re just desperate to sell their Israeli handlers new war to the American public and fear-mongering is the only way they can think to do that. Now what they can do is use one of those nukes they’ve “lost” from Broken Arrow incidents (6-7) and nuke a city and blame it on Iran. But no single human can lift one of those, so it would be a team effort that’s easily detected. These people are professional liars. Act accordingly. Besides, I’m sure Chuck Norris could’ve lifted 9700lbs and not broken a sweat.. but he’s went home to heaven now and wouldn’t have nuked us anyway.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 JD Vance: What if Iran developed nuclear suicide vests "You talk about people who blow up the vest and a couple of people get killed. What happens when the vest can kill many, many tens of thousands of people?" x.com/BulwarkOnline/…

JD Vance claimed today that Iran may send people with “Nuclear Sucicide Vests.” Yes he really said this. Any nuclear physicists out there that can comment on this? I mean I’m guessing it’s insane and not possible but I know nothing.

You dont need to be a nuclear scientists to know this. Iran just doesnt have the capability to make a device like that. To make a nuke is difficult and takes an insane amount of technological advancements and to make a small device like that would be an incredible achievement even for a major nuclear power

Last night, the App Store Accountability Act was sent back to committee, putting critical protections for children online at risk as time in the legislative session quickly runs out. This bill is too important to stall. Kansas families deserve real safeguards in the digital spaces our kids use every day. Now is the time to act‼️ Contact your legislators immediately and urge them to move this bill forward without delay. Your voice matters, and it could make the difference in getting this across the finish line. 🔗 Take action here: speak4.app/lp/8q01ynxu Stay engaged. Stay informed. And don’t let this moment pass without being heard.

@FCC @BrendanCarrFCC YES!! FUCKING FINALLY!! Keep American's data **IN AMERICA**. We've seen offshore call and work centers have data breaches time and again. The people don't care about security and having a PC that exists to connect to a VM is increasing the attack surface with no benefit.

Which is more likely to be true for EWarren? 1.) She is genuinely economically illiterate and doesn't understand why taxing high value investments, assets, etc. will tank the value. 2.) She understands this, but pushes it anyways because she knows her voters do not.

Today, I'm introducing my wealth tax — and more than 50 members of Congress are joining me. It’s time for the government to start working for American families, not just the ultra-rich.

Me: Tax the rich Q: But what about all the waste, fraud and abuse? Me: investigate and prosecute waste, fraud and abuse AND tax the rich. Q: But the rich create jobs Me: Great. So they can enjoy the profits created from that labor AND pay taxes on that profit. Q: It will just make them leave America. Me: There is no tax haven in the world like the American tax haven. No they won’t. Q: Our national debt is because spending is out of control! Me: It is, but that is also something that rich people have trained you to say so that you’ll argue that they shouldn’t be taxed. Create Medicare for all ($600 billion in savings), cut the military budget in half ($500 billion). There’s a trillion right there. AND tax the rich. Q: …. Me: Exactly. Tax the rich.
